Claire's POVI woke up with a jerk, sweat highlighting my pale skin as I pant like a dying rat. These nightmares would never leave me.
Night after night it was either flashbacks from Racoon city or something I created based on the city's events. Whatever way it played the nightmares were still terrible and would not leave my mind.
As if I expected it to. I faced what many nineteen year old collage girls didn't, humans turned into puppets of destruction. Some making the choice while some had the choice made for them.
How could anyone return to normal after battling so many hideous creatures? How could someone put this all behind then after watching innocent lives being stripped away?
"Where are you going?" It was Jill's voice that brought me back to reality. She was conversing with mid air as she headed for the balcony.
Had she finally cracked under the circumstance of sharing space with Albert Wesker?
"Jill?" I questioned as I hopped out of bed, tossing the sheets aside as I followed behind her. She walked on, her arms out stretched as though she was a zombie.
Well I do surely hope that wasn't the case...
When I got a glimpse of her face I had to cover my laughter with my hands. Never in my years of knowing Jill did it cross my mind that she was a sleep walker.
The woman was practically walking around with closed eyes and in the moments she didn't speak she shrugged lightly.
She stumbled onto the balcony face first, me leaning behind a column as I knew exactly what she walked into. She walked right into a tyrant who despised disturbance and company.
I peeked, Jill mumbling a chain of profanities. I bit my tongue.
"These damn cats!" She hissed and Wesker who was seated on a chair for relaxation eyed her strangely.
Not that I blamed him, the woman stumbled over her own two feet yet she blamed cats.
"Then again if you vowed love to Christopher Redfield your sanity had already left" Wesker remarked as he continued to smoke.
I laughed in my hands, shuffling behind me. I faced Leon, indicating that he kept silent as he eyed me from his position on the sofa.
The moment he was next to me he eyed Jill strangely. "Is she sleeping?" He asked as Jill motioned her hands as though she was preparing a meal.
She even tasted her invisible meal...
"And waking" I added and Leon seemed stunned. Again, Jill sleep walking was a great surprise.
"Woman, what bothers you so greatly the god of destruction sent you to me?" Wesker hissed, standing as he threw his cigarette away.
His face twitched as he glared at Jill.
Jill turned to face him, realization washing over the blond's face and behind those dark glasses I knew amber eyes went wide.
The moment Jill tried to hug him he dodged, rolling aside and standing as he backed his way off the balcony. The moment he saw Leon and I he issued a demand.
"Well don't just stand there..." He hissed as Jill approached in the form of a zombie. We scattered but whatever bond she now shared with Wesker was quite strong as she sought him out specifically.
It was though she knew where he was.
"I've missed you so much Christopher..." She moaned as she cornered Wesker who dodged her every attempt to touch any part of of his body.
"I'm no Christopher woman " he growled, me laughing at the entire scenario.
"I want to show you how much I've missed you" she continued as she toyed with the strap of her blouse.
"I'd prefer if you express with words my dear" Wesker hissed as he took her hand from the strap of her garment.
Jill kissed his hand, Wesker cringing upon the minor contact. Once again his face twitched.
"If no one rids me of this woman it would be very unfortunate for her to return to Chris in a wooden box" Wesker hissed as he stared down at Jill, his fingers stopping her lips from touching his chest.
"The last time I checked waking a sleep walker could be dangerous" I threw at Wesker who gave me a glare.
Even if I had to tell him I could gain cancer by helping him so be it.
"And you think not waking her is the..." And before he could finish his entire body jerked. I folded my lips, Leon's face showing astonishment as our eyes fell to Jill's hand.
Wesker's reproductive organ was palmed, Jill kissing his chest as he stared down at her oddly.
Jill was sent flying moments later, Leon quick enough to grab her before she could meet her horrific end and on the tied floor.
Jill's eyes flew open, her fingers holding onto Leon for support as she looked around. Wesker adjusted his pants followed by his shades, Jill earning a nasty stare.
"What's going on...why am I out of bed?" She asked as Leon assisted her to stand.
"Well miss Valentine that's what happens when you make it your duty to touch what's not yours " Wesker hissed and Jill looked to me.
"He's just pissed because you grabbed his straw sized dick" I informed Jill and Leon cleared his throat, suppressing laughter I presumed.
"What? " Jill screamed in horror and Leon pat her back gently.
"You were sleep walking" he clarified and Jill held her chest in relief.
"Well why didn't you guys say that to begin with...that explains everything" Jill fumed with a yawn and a stretch.
******
Everyone fell asleep with ease. All but me of course and as for Wesker he didn't sleep. However that didn't mean I was going to bother him.
Jill had already done that for me.
I crossed my legs as I sat on the tub of the bathroom, doing something I did whenever I was bored.
I read.
"I'm sorry" upon hearing Leon's voice I hid my book, heading into the tub. He caught me, pulling me to my feet as he stared at me.
Now I knew what will be the cause of my demise.
"There is nothing for you to be sorry for Leon...you were on a mission and I didn't say anything about Wesker's visit" I told him and he hugged me, kissing my head softly.
"And I accused you of something you probably didn't even do" he stated and I stared up at him.
"Even though I didn't cheat on you I still kept a secret...I still went behind your back" I admitted, my hands receiving their respective gentle squeeze.
"Claire...it's okay. I can't blame you for having a big heart and for still being in love with Wesker" he stated.
He knew? He knew I still had feelings for the Gothic blond?
"Our son..." Was all I could mumble, Leon kissing my hair softly.
"Claire its okay...I can't blame you for wanting to save the world from another epidemic. No child should face what Sherry or Zara did" he told me.
"I just want my husband back" I mumbled as our lips touched.
"He never left" Leon mumbled, kissing me into silence. The night on the other hand was as far from silence as you could get.
So Leon and Claire made up 😊
Well let's see what happens in the next update...Do vote and comment guys...I love seeing those vote and comments😊😊
