Jiwon's POV

Jisoo: What do you mean?

Jiwon: Nothing... Forget what I just said.

I heard a faint sigh coming out of her mouth. I turned around and finally looked at her wearing a serious face.

Jiwon: I'm going out for some fresh air... I'll come back later, stay for tonight.

Jisoo's POV

Jiwon: I'm going out for some fresh air... I'll come back later, stay for tonight.

Was all he said, before walking past me and stepping out of the house.

What the...

Okay, I was so lost...

But he asked me to stay for today...

Why...

I thought about it for more than 20 minutes and decided to sleep here tonight. I then went back to the second floor, to finish the cleaning of the house.

- 8 HOURS LATER -

It was now 6 PM and Jiwon was still outside. I started to doubt of him coming back.

Was he really planning to return...

Letting my tired body fall on the comfortable couch, I let my head plop in one of the cushions which was on it and turned on the TV. Unfortunately, none of my the shows I enjoyed to watch was playing... Resulting me to give up on trying to watch TV. I stopped on a channel that was diffusing daily news, too lazy to turn it off.

Jisoo: What should I do now.... Oh! Right, I wanted to call Jennie.

Remembering I wanted to know the reason behind Jennie and Hanbin's awkwardness, my lifeless corpse sat up, and my eyes wondered around the living room, searching for my phone.

It wasn't here.

Maybe I left it in one of the bedrooms.

Heading to the second floor for the 10th time today, I spotted my phone on Jiwon's bed. I dropped on the bed, reaching for it before unlocking the lock screen and dialing Jendeukkie's number.

Jennie's POV

I was looking at people's Instagram accounts when I received a call from Jisoo unnie. I immediately took it.

Jennie: Hey Chichu unnie~

Jisoo: Jendeukkie~

Jennie: Ahhh~ I told you many times to not call me like that!

I heard her chuckle on the other line.

Jennie: Why did you call unnie? I am very busy-!

She replied before I could finish my sentence.

Jisoo: Stalking people's accounts on Instagram?

Damn, she knows me too well.

Jennie: Hehe... But seriously-

Jisoo: What happened between you and Hanbin?

.

.

.

Okay, straightforward as always...

Jennie: Why? Are you getting curious again? It's becoming a very bad habit!

Jisoo: Aish, you know it annoys me when you scold me! I am older than you, I am the unnie!

She whined, which made me roll my eyes and sigh at her silliness.

Jisoo: Anyways, tell me about-

Jennie: But won't you stop-

Jisoo: Yah! ........ Don't even think you can avoid the topic. Stop trying to talk about other things and just answer!

I sighed again. This time, it was a very very long sigh.

Jennie: It's a long story.

Jisoo: I have until midnight. Suit yourself. We can also talk about it at school, tomorrow is Monday.

Ugh... So persistent.

Jennie: Fine... It happened one week ago.

- FLASHBACK : ONE WEEK AGO -

Jennie's POV

I was walking home with Rose when I heard someone calling me from behind. Rose and I turned around and the guy stopped in his tracks. Seems like he was running to catch up with us. He was now panting, trying to regain his composure and breath normally.

Hanbin: Jennie...

Jennie: Um... Who are you?

I bluntly asked receiving a dumbfounded look by the boy in front of me, and a nudge on my arm from Rose.

Hanbin: Well, my name is Kim Hanbin.

Jennie: Okay, Hanbin. What do you want?

Hanbin: I wanted to talk to you.

Jennie: Why?

I got another nudge coming from the orange haired girl next to me.

Hanbin:  I laid my eyes on you on the first day of school. Since then, I've been wanting to know you more.

What?

Jennie: Are you flirting Hanbin?

I chuckled, mocking him.

Jennie: Because if it's the case, it's not wor-

Hanbin: Far from that, I just wanted to ask you if you were free tomorrow.

I snorted.

Jennie: If that's not called flirting, I must be dumb. Because I could swear you are asking me out.

Rose: Well-

Jennie: You better keep your mouth shut.

Feeling slightly frightened by my warning, Rose kept her lips sealed and looked at me with furious eyes. I turned my attention back to him.

Hanbin: I want to hang out. That's all. Maybe you are used to boys coming to confess or whatever, but I am not like other boys.

His statement turned my bored grin into a smirk.

Jennie: Oh really ? Then I would be glad to to hang out with you tomorrow.

Rose: But unnie!-

Jennie: What did I say?

Rose: It's a bad idea...

She mumbled to herself, but it was still audible for me too hear.

Hanbin: For real!?

I nodded and he softly smiled.

Hanbin: See you tomorrow, at 9 AM near the square then.

Jennie: Yeah, see you .
