Still Jennie's POV
Jisoo: Wait so you accepted!?
Jennie: Yah, don't interrupt my story!
Jisoo: But- Yah! I told you to not scold me!
Jennie: Unnie! Are you going to let me finish or argue over such a childish thing!
I groaned because I wanted to get over with it. After all, it's unnie who wanted to know what happened.
Jisoo: Aish...! Go on...
Jennie: Thank you.
- BACK TO THE FLASHBACK -
The next day, I met Hanbin near the square as planned.
Hanbin: Hey.
He greeted me with a genuine smile.
Jennie: No flowers?
Hanbin: Is that what you expected? I told you right, it's a hangout not a date. I am not one of these douche bags who confessed to you just for your looks. I am a simple guy who wants to be your friend. Furthermore, I don't date someone after only having one conversation, dear.
He replied wearing an amused look, which made me more embarrassed than I already was. I scoffed and looked away, trying to cool my burning cheeks. Once I had calmed down, I averted my gaze back to him.
Jennie: So... Where are we going today?
Hanbin: Why not go to the fun fair? It's not that far from here.
I hummed and we walked to the bus station.
.
Jisoo: So you went to-
Jennie: JISOO UNNIE!
Jisoo: My bad. I'll shut up now.
.
After a long bus ride, also noisy , because many children took that bus to go to the fun fair; we finally arrived to destination.
Hanbin: Already tired?
He asked while attentively examining my face which clearly showed exhaustion because of the kids loud cheers in the bus.
Jennie: How come you weren't affected by these brats? It was irritating.
A weird look was given to me.
Jennie: What?
Hanbin: Why? I think they were adorable, they were excited for the fun fair. I have a little sister and she is very cute. That's why I don't understand your contempt for children.
Jennie: Well some people do not appreciate the same things you appreciate.
Hanbin: And what do you appreciate?
Jennie: Dogs, clothes, accessories, makeup-
Hanbin: Wait, I know dogs are living beings and have the right to be respected, but aren't they just as noisy as kids?
Jennie: Oh please, I have two dogs and they don't make a single noise compared to these monsters.
His eyebrows furrowed, seems like he didn't like the noun I used for my description.
Hanbin: What is your problem? Weren't you a kid too? How can you say they are monsters and noisier than dogs? Freak.
He didn't like it at all. And I also did not like where it was going.
Jennie: What did you just say?
Hanbin: Freak. You should be ashamed to talk about other people's children like that.
Without thinking, I pushed him harshly, making him slightly stumble on his feet, not to the point of falling down though.
Jennie: I think I will go home now.
- END OF THE FLASHBACK -
Jisoo: Now I see...
Jennie: Yeah... I understood what he meant by I am not like the other guys .
