Marvel- First binder

Ya bitch got a binder! So yes I'm making a trans Peter one shot to celebrate. Also I don't know if a store like this exists so let's just say there's a shop specifically for binders or has like a trans section in it.

No one's P.O.V~

Peter was exctactic. Today was the day he was going to get himself a binder. He and Ned were going to go out and find Peter one and Peter couldn't be happier. He jumped out of bed, brushed his teeth before throwing on his baggy science shirt with a blue checkered shirt over it. "Bye everyone!" He swung down the stairs to the garage where Happy was waiting to take him to Ned's house.

"Is it just me, or does the kid seem extra energetic today?" Tony asked the adults currently hovering around the kitchen. Bruce and Clint nodded a little while Natasha stared after him. "He is yeah." Scott walked into the kitchen half asleep. "Is something happening today to make him this happy?" He poured himself a cup of coffee as the other's thought. "Not that I know of." Scott nodded and sipped his coffee. "Then there you have it, Ned probably just got a new Lego set that they're going to build." With that he poured another cup an went to go wake up Hope. Tony thought for a second. "I'm gonna check his security cameras. See what he's been up too." They told him not to invade his privacy but he ignored them. "Friday, show me the security footage from Peter's room from the past, week." Friday takes a second to respond. "I'm afraid I cannot sir." Tony looks at the group in shock. "Why not?" Friday responds quickly. "Peter has stopped the recording in his room, as well as setting a new override code for the camera's so that his command cannot be overridden." The whole group was silent for a couple seconds. "Friday is there any footage from his room that you can show us?" It was Natasha who spoke. "There is footage from the last month however after Peter hacked into my system he deleted some of the footage." Tony recovered from his shock and spoke up again. "Show us that footage." Friday complies immediately and plays the footage on the TV screen.

The footage wasn't anything special, it just showed Peter doing his homework, sleeping, going about his day and entering his room as Spiderman. After a couple days of that they started seeing Peter sat at his laptop typing away while scribbling things down on a piece of paper beside him. 2 days of this and then there was no more footage. Everyone stood in shock for a minute. "2 days, it took him two days to hack into my system. It wasn't even two full days because he carried on with his life as if he wasn't doing anything." They all stood in silence as Scott and Hope re-entered the room. "What's up with you guys?" Bruce turned around to face them. "Peter hacked into Tony's AI in under 2 days to remove the camera in his room." Scott stood in awe while Hope just stared at the screen. They had rewound the footage and meaning she could see Peter working. "That kid is a genius." They all nodded silently. Scott turned to the door remembering why he was leaving. "Come on Hope, we need to go pick up Cassie." Hope nodded and turned around quickly. "See you later guys!" They waved the two goodbye before turning back to the screen.

Peter had jumped out of the car as soon as it stopped and ran up to Ned's door. He knocked a couple times and the door swung open revealing Ned with a huge smile on his face. "Let's go! I'll see you later mom!" He shouted the last part down the corridor before closing it. Peter caught a quiet 'love you' from his mom as the door closed. They jumped into the back of Happy's car and waited for them to get to their destination. It was a 15 minute drive from Ned's house to the mall. They thanked Happy for the ride as they got out. "We'll be back in a bit Happy." Happy waved a tiny bit before going to the allowed waiting area.

Peter pulled Ned into the mall happily. "Dude, chill." Peter realized what he meant and released his arm. "Sorry! I'm just really excited. Are you okay?" Ned nodded quickly as they walked towards the store they needed. As the two walked inside Peter's smile grew even wider. "I can't believe I'm finally getting one." Ned smiled at his best friend. "I'm happy for you Pete." Just then a store worker came over to them. "Hi, do you need any help?" Peter and Ned shared a look before nodding slowly. "How can I help you?" Peter shuffled a little bit. "I um, I'm looking for a binder." Ned noticed him pulling the edge of his shirt so stepped a little bit closer. "Of course. Have you ever had a binder before?" Peter shook his head. "Not a problem. Follow me and I'll get you sorted out." Peter smiled and followed the woman through the store.

5 minutes later the woman had led Peter and Ned to the back of the shop. She held out a black binder that looked about Peter's size. "You aren't allowed to try it on I'm afraid, but if you want to make sure that it's the right one I can have you measured? I know it's the last thing you want but that way you get it today." Peter thought for a second before looking back at Ned, who held up 2 thumbs in a show of support. "Would you mind? It's just I'm so close to having one..." The woman held up her hand. "Not a problem. Come through here, I'll get you out in like 3 minutes okay?" Peter nodded and followed the woman.

As she promised, three minutes later Peter was stepping back into the main part of the shop again. The woman looked around before finding a rack with the right size. "What colour would you like?" Peter spoke up immediately. "Black please." She nodded and after a minute of looking picked up a black binder in Peter's size. She carried it over to the checkout and scanned it. "That's fifteen please." Peter handed her a twenty. "Keep the change please, you were so helpful, you definitely deserve it." She smiled at him sweetly and handed him his bag. "Would you like to use the changing room to put it on now?" Peter nodded slowly. "Please."

2 minutes later Peter walked out wearing his binder feeling better about himself than he has in years. Ned smiled at him proudly when he walked out. They smile at the woman as the leave the store, she smiles back. "Thanks so much for coming with me Ned." Ned smiled brightly. "I'm the guy in the chair, it's what I do. I'm also your best friend. So once again, it's what I do." Peter smiled at him. "Want to buy a new Lego set to do next time?" Ned nodded quickly and so they made their way to the Lego store. They picked out a new Star Wars set (of course) which Peter payed for. They made their way back to the car quickly. "What took so long if you only bought one thing?" Before Ned could get nervous Peter answered, "Because there was another set there that looked just as cool so we couldn't decide." Happy accepted the answer and started the car. When they got to Ned's house Peter pointed to the bag. "Yours or mine?" Ned handed the bag to Peter. "You keep it." Peter nodded and waved at his friend as he got back into his house.

When Peter got back to the tower he found Tony, Bruce, Steve and Natasha waiting for him. "What's going on?" Tony looked at him and pointed at the screen which they had looped on him at his laptop when Friday had told them he was home. Peter visibly paled. "I can explain." Tony stared at him. "Please do. Please explain to me how a 15 year old boy managed to hack into my AI in under 2 days." Peter swallowed nervously. "I only hacked into the camera. I didn't hack into the whole system." Tony rolled his eyes softly. Bruce spoke up. "Why did you hack it at all?" Peter looked over to him. "Because I felt uncomfortable having a camera watching me 24/7." Bruce nodded slightly. "He does have a point Tony." Tony sighed, "Yes he does, but why did he feel the need to create a new override code for his camera." Peter paled again. "I..." Tony looked at him slightly. "Do I need to call Aunt May back from her friends wedding?" Peter shook his head quickly. "No! I just... Don't now how to tell you..." Wanda walked back into the room followed by some of the others. "Peter calm down." He turned to look at the new arrivals. "Peter I can feel how scared you are. Calm down." He nodded slightly before taking a couple deep breaths. He looked around the room. The rest of the Avengers were back as well as Scott, Hope and Cassie. He realized that they were all watching him including Cassie. "Is that Spiderman?" Her dad nodded quickly. "Yeah. Hey Cassie why don't you go take a seat on the couch, I'll be in soon okay?" She nodded slowly before walking out of the room.

Wanda realized what was going to happen before the others so walked over to Peter who was on the verge of a panic attack. She placed her hands on his shoulders and led him to sit on the floor so that he didn't fall. Natasha followed suit rubbing circles on his back. "Peter? You have to talk to us." Peter shook slightly. "If I tell you, do you promise not to treat me any differently?" They all nodded immediately, making their way over to the shaking teen. Including Cassie, who was worried about him. She wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug before her dad could pull her away. "Okay... I'm, I'm transgender, I changed my name to Peter 5 years ago. I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys but I didn't want you to treat me differently." They all hugged Peter tighter. Even Cassie although she didn't really understand what he meant she knew that Peter needed a hug. A minute into the hug Cassie spoke up. "What does transgender mean?" Peter looked up at Scott who just nodded allowing him to explain. "It's when someone doesn't feel right with how they were born. I was born a girl like you but I didn't feel like a girl so when I was 10 I changed my name to Peter because it was what I identified as. That make sense?" Cassie smiled brightly and nodded. "Yup!"Peter smiled down at her before looking up at the group. Ten minutes later all of the Avengers had told Peter that they won't treat him any differently and that he was still the same Peter- too smart for his own good - Parker.
