POEM#10-Lies
you tell me that you want me...I can see through your mask of lies.
You tell me that you want the best for me...All that you've shown me is that you could care less.
You tell me what you want for me...I know it's all nothing but lies.
It's all for your own personal gain.
You tell me I'm just different...All I see is discrimination.
You tell me you'll listen...I know different.
You say that you love me...I can tell that you don't.
You say that you want me to stay...You sure don't act like it.
You say you're sorry...I know you're not.
You say that you care about me...All I see is a handful of lies.
You say that you'll be there for me...I've lived through different.
You say you're different...I say you've yet to prove it.
You say that you deserve my love and respect...I say differently.
You say you'll miss me...I say no you won't.
You say it's an honor to meet me...I say that you don't even deserve to know me.
I have just proven that everything that you have ever said to me has been nothing more than lies...A waist of my time.
