Will I ever dance again?

Chapter 11

COURTNEY'S POV

Friday. The worst day to be at dance, there is six hours of rehearsing for the competition tomorrow.

We where practicing the group dance when suddenly Chloe collapsed. We all run over to her and Mom runs over

"Honey are you okay" Mom says no response. Kelly runs into the room

"I've called an ambulance". At that exact moment an ambulance officer comes into the room with a stretcher

"What happened?" she asks

"I don't know we were just dancing and then she collapsed and became unconscious" I reply

"Okay we are going to take her to the hospital I can have three people come in the ambulance to the hospital"

Mom holding Clara who is crying steps forward, I step forward to mom turns to me with tears in her eyes

"Honey you have to stay behind and rehearse, Kelly can drop you off to the hospital after okay"

"No Mom I wanna come" I respond crying

"I know Court I know but you have to stay here" she stays and starts walking with the ambulance officer

"No Mom" I cry trying to run after her but Kelly grabs me. I start crying even harder

"Court come with me we will get you cleaned up and then we can talk okay?" Brooke says

"Okay" I reply with a sniffle.

1 HOUR LATER

"Okay girls go home get some rest and I'll see you bright and early here at the studio to get on the bus"

"Thankyou Miss Abby" we all respond. I run into the den and call Mom....

M: Hello
C: Hey Mom how is Chlo?
M: We don't know yet she is still unconscious but don't worry Kelly said she would drop you over
C: okay bye Mom see you soon.

I hang up the phone and go outside to Kelly's car where she is already waiting

"Hey Courtney how you feeling?"

"I'm okay thanks for this"

"Your welcome I'm just as worried as you are please keep me updated okay?"

"Yep thanks for the lift" I say when we pull up at the hospital

"Your welcome how about a kiss for your second Mommy?" I give her a kiss on the cheek and made my way into the hospital.

When I got in their a nurse asked for the name of the person I was visiting and sent me to a room where my sister was.

"Mom" I said walking through the door and running up and hugging her I could feel the tears coming but I held them back

"how is she?" I said pulling away

"she is still unconscious but......." She was interrupted my Chloe waking up

"Mom where am I?" She said

"Honey oh my gosh Court go get the nurse, Chlo your in a hospital you collapsed at dance"

I came back in with the doctor at my side. He did a few tests and took some blood and left the room with us still wondering what happened.

30 MINUTES LATER

"Mrs Lukasiak"

"Yes doctor is she okay?"

"Yes she's fine, what we assumed has happened is Chloe has been over worked and her brain just isn't keeping up with her body, her brain is working at a faster rate then what her body can keep up with. She fainted because her brain was overworked and was trying to force too many things in there but her body was a couple of steps behind still confused as to why she knew it in her head but when it came to doing the task she couldn't remember things which caused her to faint. She can faint again at any time so she needs to have a close eye kept on her and if she feels stressed and can't keep up with things she needs to sit down and take some deep breaths"

"Okay thank you so much doctor"

"your welcome that's what I am here for. Okay Chloe let's see if you can walk" he said. He helped her of the hospital bed and she was soon back to her bubbly state skipping around the room

"Will she be able to go home tonight?"

"Yes she will and she will be able to perform tomorrow but she might feel a bit drowsy if so have a lay down for a bit and drink some juice"

"Thanks again Doctor" and with that the doctor left the room

"Okay honey let's get you changed. Court can you call Kelly and ask if she can drive us home cause dads at work"

"Sure Mom" I say grabbing my phone and taking Clara out with me to call Kelly. I walk back into the room

"Kelly will be here in 20 minutes"

"Okay thanks Court" she says giving me a kiss on my head. I walk over to Chloe and sit beside her on the bed, just as I was about to ask her if she was alright my phone started ringing it was Josh

J: OMG Court you had me worried how is she? Is she okay? Can she dance again?
C: She's fine babe do you wanna talk to her?
J: yes please I have been worried for hours.

I pass the phone over to Chloe within a couple of minutes she is laughing again.

She hangs up and tells me they are waiting outside for us. We head out and tell Kelly and Josh all about what happened.
