Tori's PoV
It breaks my heart to see him like this. He sat in the corner, crying with his head against his knees, trembling. He was scared. I didn't blame him. If I had died, then suddenly found myself in an auditorium full of people, I would be too.
He kept asking for Professor Petra. He says he wants answers. But I don't think even Petra has any. I'm worried about him. He's not the same. I hope Petra can help. But it is only that. A hope. I can't stand this. As soon as someone else comes in I'm leaving. I can't leave him alone, but I need to leave.
Professor Petra's PoV
As soon as I walked in Tori ran out. My first instinct was to go after her, but the sobs from the corner stole my attention. Turning, I saw a familiar boy with orange hair look up to see me. I sat down in front of him. He suddenly lunged forward and grabbed my shoulders.
"W-what is going on?" I bit my lip, attempting unsuccessfully to come up with an answer. Nothing came to me.
"I really don't know, Ryan. I wish I did." Ryan let go of my shoulders and leaned back against the wall. He was silent for a moment.
"I'm really scared, Professor."
"Me too, Ryan. Me too."
