from there on, i realized i would always keep choosing to have him in my life, everyday i will always choose him. that's what love is. even if we grow out of that stage where "it feels like the love isn't there anymore", i will always find the reasons why i fell in love with him. i will always remind myself the reasons i chose to stay after all these years.
the love changes, but that doesnt mean it decreases or it isn't there anymore. love isn't a feeling after all. if we clung to that feeling we had when we had our first days or weeks or even months with them, your relationship would never last. that is why love is a choice— that even if they once lost grasp of the love they have for you, as long as they still chose to find it again, you won't view love as a feeling ever again anymore.
