04. We're Going On a Trip

A freaking blue lion. A FREAKING BLUE LION?

"Is this it? Is this the Voltron?" Pidge asked.

"It must be." Said Shiro.

"This is what has been causing all of this crazy energy out here," Keith began to walk towards the Blue Lion. There was a light blue dome surrounding it also. "Looks like there is a force field around it."

"Does anyone else get the feeling this is staring at them?" Lance asked while walking in a zig-zag motion.

[Y/N] stared up at the lion's dim yellow eyes. They had no signs of moving, they just look still. "No."

"Yeah. The eyes are totally following me."

"I wonder how we get through this." Keith stopped in front of the barrier holding the mechanical feline. He'd rest his hands on the glowing wall.

"Maybe you just have to knock." Lance stepped forward and balled his hand into a fist, lightly knocking on the barrier. He gasped as ripples of light went across the force field, it soon disappearing. The platform underneath the blue lion was even glowing.

Suddenly, a vision crossed into the group's minds. It shown five different colored lions flying in formation, forming into a large robot that wielded a flaming sword. After the vision ended, it left everyone in shocked silence.

"Uh, did everyone see that?" Lance was the first to speak up.

"Voltron is a robot. Voltron is a huge, huge, awesome robot!" Hunk exclaimed.

"And this thing is only one part of it!" Pidge added. "I wonder where the rest of them are."

"This is what they're looking for." Shiro said.

"Incredible." Keith breathed out.

"So, let me get this straight. There are five different colored lions and they form this huge ass robot? Sounds a bit crazy, don't you think?" [Y/N] asked, staring at the large feline in front of her.

"Language." Shiro scolded her. [A/N: Since when did Shiro hang out with Steve Rogers?]

The [H/C] haired girl then yelped, startled, as the lion lowered its head. Hunk and Pidge were screaming in fear, while the rest of them just stared. The lion's mouth then opened, a small ramp sliding onto the ground.

Lance then chuckled and ran inside the large robotic beast. The others glanced at each other and followed after the boy.

"All right! Very nice!" He exclaimed after a holographic screen popped up, showing the shallow water that they fell in.

"Okay, guys, I feel the need to point out, just so that we're all, you know, aware," Hunk started. "We are in some kind of futuristic alien cat head right now."

[Y/N] stood in between Shiro and Keith, her hands resting on top of the chair in front of her. Suddenly, Lance stiffened. Worried, she reached over and waved her hand in front of his face. "Earth to Lance? You there?"

He then blinked a few times. "Whoa. Did you guys hear that?"

"Hear what?" Keith questioned.

"I-I think it's talking to me," He answered and leaned forward, pressing a few buttons. Suddenly, the lion stood up and let out an ear-splitting roar. Pidge and Hunk were screaming, again. "Okay. Got it. Now, let's try this." He then pushed the control handles, causing the Blue Lion to jolt forward and crash through the side of the cave. It flew into the air and did a somersault.

Hunk and Pidge started to scream once again. Everyone just held onto something, and Lance for dear life.

"You are-- the worst-- pilot-- ever!" Keith shouted.
