The note left me with an empty feeling in my stomach - this time not from the aftermath of throwing up - and my forehead creased in confusion. What could possibly have been so urgent that he had to leave before seven o'clock on a Saturday?
A pain went through my chest as I realised that I probably knew the answer to that question.
Suddenly those thoughts were swept away as I remembered the day.
