Leo's POV
I was fed up with my wife and my son's bullshit promise to his whore friend about going to Signal Academy together, he doesn't need friends, he needs to learn that friends get you no where in life and that the only way to get through life is to be prepared to do what needs to be done. And I am prepared to do whatever is necessary to achieve just that.I pulled out my scroll and got in contact with my lawyer, Cobalt an expert in helping me get what I want.
"Headmaster Lionheart, what do I owe the pleasure?"
"Enough with the pleasantries Cobalt, I need you to doctor up forged documents to grant me full custody over my son and divorce papers for my wife."
"I see, is she still against the move to Mistral? Ah, stupid question sir, I shall have the documents for you tomorrow morning sir, have a good evening."
"And you Cobalt, and thank you I'll see that you receive a pay rise for your efforts."
The call ended and faced out of my study window in the direction of the Xiao Long/Rose household and saw my disappointment of a son playing with those two rejects.
"Enjoy this while you can Y/n after tonight you will be in Mistral whether you like it or not."
The next morning
Summer's POV
I was sitting on the porch with Tai and Ruby while Yang and Y/n were having a mock fight like they normally do. But unlike Yang, Y/n hasn't completely unlocked his aura and Leo isn't doing anything to help him along, thankfully Tai teaches at Signal so he'll be able to help out."Come on Yang, hit me harder. I want to see how much I can take before my aura drops."
When Y/n said he wanted Yang to hit him as hard as she possibly could made me worry and I didnt hesitate to make my concerns known to the two.
"I don't think that's wise you two, Y/n you haven't fully unlocked your aura, what if you get seriously injured?"
I went to continue voicing my concerns when Tai stopped me before addressing Yang and Y/n.
"Alright, but remember only one hit as hard as you can Yang. So to make things more interesting we'll start the fight using tournament style rules, which means, when either combatants Aura is depleted to the red zone the fight ends or if either combatant is forced out of bounds."
I was still concerned mostly for Y/n's safety due to the fact that he hasn't unlocked his aura completely and that Yang can hit extremely hard. But they both seemed extremely determined to go through with it, as they took a fighting stance Tai counted them down.
"Okay fighters tournament style rule are applied to this fight which means once your out, you're out. Ready?"
"3 ... 2 ... 1 ... FIGHT!"
Within an instant and at speeds that would put Ruby to shame, Y/n was already in close quarters with Yang landing blow after blow on her slowly dropping her aura. But I still couldn't help but feel uneasy about this whole situation.
Yang's POV
Last night, shortly after dinner Y/n asked to talk to me before I went to bed, he said it was something to do with his aura.Flashback
"Okay Y/n, you said you wanted to talk to me about something to do with your aura, so what's up?"Y/n looked out the window briefly before turning his attention back to me which caused me to become concerned about him.
"I ... I haven't fully unlocked my aura. Yang, your father's a teacher at Signal, do you think we'd be able to have a spar?"
I sighed as I sat down on Y/n's bed as he put his head on my shoulder like he normally does when he's worried about something.
" Let me guess, towards the end you want me to hit you as hard as possible? To see if that helps with your aura?"
All I received from Y/n was a simple nod which still had me concerned for him any number of things could go wrong the worst being that I inadvertently kill him, but I could tell he was worried about it.
"Alright, because it's for you I'll do it. I'll ask dad to oversee it but we have to tell dad what the plan is okay?"
Y/n took his head off my shoulder before pulling me into a bone-crushing hug, which put me in his shoes whenever I hugged him. After a few moments we broke the hug but not before Y/n quickly pecked me on the cheek.
"Thanks Yang, really I mean it. Thank you so much."
"You're welcome Y/n, I'd better get back to my room before dad gets suspicious, I'll see you in the morning."
Flashback End
Y/n's POV
Last night Yang and I agreed that we'd have a spar and that she would let me get her aura close to knocking her out, and that when I was about to knock her out of the fight she'd hit me with everything she's got."Game over Xiao Long, get ready to taste defeat!"
I threw the punch that would knock Yang out of the fight when she grabbed my fist and swung me over her shoulder and kicked me in the stomach sending me stumbling backwards before smashing her fists together activating her semblance.
"That's where you're wrong! Yang SMAAAAASSSHH!!"
I regained my composure only to be met with Yang's fist to my chest which sent me flying along the ground. The initial impacts left minor craters I n.v the ground and a cloud of dust when I finally stopped. And I didn't even feel a thing but the initial impact of Yang's fist.
---------------------------------------------------------
A/n: Well Y/n didnt feel the impact and his aura was only half full at the start of the fight his aura has been unlocked fully but his semblance will be revealed in the next chapter as well as the single even which changes his life forever.
