Chapter 10

Pagdating ng ibang member ng team nila saka pa bumalik sa loob ng room si Albert para maiwasan na magtalo sila ni Agot. They concentrate on their work, revising their offers and incorporating the things na nakasali sa napagmeetingan nila the day before. After nila matapos yun dumalo sila sa isa na namang meeting.

Kinagabihan nanlibre na si Albert sa lahat ng dinner para masigurado niyang kumain Agot and para hindi ito agad bumalik sa hotel nito.

Alice: (flirting with Albert)

Albert: (naiinis at nagsisisi bakit niya pinasama si Alice but tahimik lang na as if hindi niyo naririnig)

Agot: (try talking sa katabi niya para hindi nya kailangan kausapin sila Albert and Alice)

Albert: (pasimpleng pinagmamasdan lang Agot)

Alice: I heard it's your free day tomorrow, do you want to go shopping Agot?

Agot: no thanks!

Alice: from riches to rags.

Agot: that's life Alice. Enjoy your fortune while you still have it. (Stand up) thanks for the dinner Albert and thanks guys for the wonderful evening but I need to head back to my hotel.

Albert: (look at his watch then) we may as well call it a night. It's been a long day for us. (Stand up)

Alice: but it's still so early Albert. Do you want to go clubbing?

Albert: no. (Look at Agot) I'll walk you back to your hotel.

Agot: thank you but there's no need.

Albert: (just shrug)

Agot: (wave sa mga kasama nila and smile at them) enjoy your free day tomorrow. Magpakabait kundi isusumbing ko kayo sa mga asawa nyo)

Natawa ang mga kasama nila. Hindi nila maintindihan ang tension between Agot and Albert but hinahayaan lang nila dahil mabuti naman si Agot sa kanila at naeenjoy nila ito makatrabaho. Bumalik na din si Agot sa hotel niya.

An hour later.

Agot: (nakaharap sa computer niya ng biglang may kumatok. Nagtaka siya sino kaya tumayo siya and tiningnan sa peep hole then saw Albert open the door and lean) bakit ka nandito.

Albert: (silip ang loob ng room ni Agot)

Agot: ano ang inaasahan mong makikita mo?

Albert: (pasok sa loob then diritsu sa desk)

Agot: I didn't invite you in. Hindi na ako magtatanong paano mo nalaman na dito ako naka book.

Albert: good. (Sit down sa chair then look at Agot's laptop)

Agot: (tiklop ang laptop niya) ano karapatan mo pumunta dito para mangialam?

Albert: what are you doing?

Agot: working.

Albert: sa nakita ko hindi para sa companya ko ang tinatrabaho mo.

Agot: alam ko and as far as I know it's not a conflict of your interest so what's wrong with that?

Albert: why are you working two jobs?

Agot: it's none of your business. Pwede ba sabihin mo na ano kailangan mo at umalis ka na.

Albert: I just want to be sure that you are okay.

Agot: well, now you know I'm fine kaya pwede ka na matulog ng mahimbing.

Albert: bawal ba maging concern sayo?

Agot: (just shrug)

Albert: ano plano mo gawin bukas?
