Pay day!!

I'm so excited for this months pay day, I got a job a few months back at the local candy store by the school I know it's not much but it pays really good for a candy store.

Quinn is now 5 months pregnant and her and Finn are still just friends expecting a baby. Santana and Noah usually visit usually with Kurt and Blaine and we just make a fun day or night together mainly ordering take outs and watching films.

Which leads me to pay day I've saved up the past few months and I've decided to do something very special for Quinn, I've decided to do the nursery for her hopefully without anyone knowing even dad won't know.

As i wake up on a bright and early Friday morning in May, I get up and walk to my window and open my curtains to be fully blinded by the sun that was blasting through the window into my eyes I look in my wardrobe and I decided to change into a black just above the knee with big white dots on and long white thin cardigan with black knee high socks and some black wedged shoes, I leave my ombré hair down slightly wavy and I go into the bathroom and finish getting ready already wearing my friendship charm bracelet I apply my locket that inside has a picture of dad and I on one side and Quinn dad and I on the other taken when we graduated it's my favourite.

It's now 9am and Quinn is still in bed and I think dad is downstairs so I decide to head down making sure I don't wake Quinn, she's been sleeping quite badly these few weeks now the baby has started kicking she's always up in agony.

I go downstairs and I was right there in the kitchen was dad sitting as the table marking papers drinking coffee.

Will: morning

Rachel: morning

I grab a mug and make myself a hot chocolate and I make some toast

Will: so what's the plan today

I sit down with my plate and mug opposite my dad and I start eating

Rachel: probably have a look around town maybe

Will: I'm so proud you managed to get a job

Rachel: and when Quinn gives birth she will also have a job at the same place

Will: I can't believe how much of a good pay it is

Rachel: maybe I should co direct the glee club as well

Will: you could try

Rachel: I might i mean I have morning shifts at the candy store then I start again at 3

Will: worth talking to figgins over

Rachel: maybe

Will: anyways I have to go now so I'll see you when you get back from work

Rachel: okay

Will: be careful

He kisses me on the forehead and then leaves grabbing his school stuff and I grab my bag and I grab my car keys after I finally got my own car I was so pleased when my grandparents arrived in the car announcing it was mine for my graduation presents, Quinn got a new laptop which is what she wanted so I got in my new car and I drove to the nearest D.I.Y store and I brought some paint and near the store was a baby shop and I ended up buying a cot and a changing unit and along with the most adorable pushchair ever, as we don't know what Quinn is having I picked some neutral colours even though I'm adamant it's a girl, sixth sense if you call it, but I know that it's a little girl even though everyone calls me crazy for being adamant.

After the 2 stores I drive into the main town and I park in the car park and grab my bag putting it on my shoulder I lock my car and walk my way into the centre and I head straight into a few baby shops picking up a few baby grows, some adorable little boots and socks and a little teddy for the cot along with some bedding and blankets along with some burp cloths they are so adorable I then decide to pick up some decorations for the room like little fairy lights and some canvas to put up on the wall but my favourite so far is the 3 photo albums I brought from disney all of which have different disney characters on and I've decided I'm going to put some family photos in them and place them on the wall.

I shop for a few more hours picking some other stuff up for now things that Quinn may need or that dad may need or something I see and like I then carry everything back to my car and sit inside the car for a while scrolling through my phone till I find who I want.

Noah: Rach what's wrong is it Quinn?

Rachel: Noah she's fine I actually need you all to take her out for a whole

Noah: and whys that

Rachel: because I have a surprise and she can't see it

Noah: okay

Rachel: you're the best

Noah: I know

I chuckle and we hang up as I turn the radio on placing in a CD that I just brought and I start to drive back home,I get home an hour later and check to see that Quinn has defiantly gone which she has and unload my car into the spare room which will now be the baby's room and I turn into Rachel the builder, I open the window and I change into some old leggings and an over sized shirt with the sleeves rolled up and I leave my hair down and I start to paint the empty room with the carpet obviously covered so the paint doesn't get on the carpet.

Whilst the room dries I then set to build everything up in the room staring with the drawers and wardrobe that I picked up a while ago plain white but big enough to fit everything in, I then set up the changing unit and the finally the for which was surprisingly easy to build by the time everything is built the walls are dry so I set them in the right places and I paint in the stencils of the trees and bird cages in white and it looks so beautiful I then move in an arm chair in the corner of the room so Quinn can always sit in there with the baby I then set up the baby safe blinds and curtains and I step back to admire the room it's beautiful if I may say so myself I nail up the frames and the canvases on each walls and I then clean the carpet and close the door walking out happily.

I then check the time and I have to get ready for work, we don't really have much of a uniform so I change into some black leggings and a long white blouse with some flats I put on my leather jacket grab my bag and drive to work hoping Quinn would love her surprise
