Pumunta ako sa kwarto ni Cheska at naabutan siya doon na may kausap. Hindi ako pumasok pero may narinig ako.

" Cheska. Are you already awake? What are you doing?" sabi ko sa labas ng pinto. Narinig kong palapit siya kaya tumayo ako ng maayos. Pagkabukas niya ng pinto ay tumambad sa'kin ang bagong gising na si Cheska. Parehas pala kami na may kausap paggising.

" Who are you talking to? " sabi ko sakanya. Namilog ang kanyang mata.

" Friend? " sagot nito. Tumango ako. Of course it's a friend. Cheska has no boyfriend yet.

" Okay. Let's eat. It's almost twelve noon. " Tumango siya. At sinarado ang pinto. Maliligo daw muna siya.

" Sure! " sabay-sabay na sagot nila. Napatingin sila sa'kin dahil ako lang hindi pa nakakasagot pati si Cheska.

" Queen? Aren't you in? " said Laura. Yung mga mata nila na nakatingin sa'kin ay parang nagpi-please.

" Why not?" napasigaw silang lahat dahil sa sigaw ko. This table is full of Joy.

" How 'bout you Miss Cheska? " tanong ni Kia kay Cheska. Tumingin si Cheska sa'kin at humingi ng permission. Tumango ako at ngumiti.

" If Alexis is in, so am i? " sabi ni Cheska at ngumiti.
