"According to the results, their agility is 20 times of humans but other than their ability to cast spells, there is nothing threatening about them." A young male scientist said. Akane, Mika and Yuu secretly followed them down the trail. "Is the extermination really necessary?" A girl among them asked. The two boys with her laughed. "What are you talking about? We can't keep something more powerful than our own race."

Yuu strike, and one of the boy was down, Mika grabbed, and the other was gone. The girl turned and called, "Ikki? Ikku?" Akane appeared and smiled apologetically, "I'm sorry. Gran la sleep." She chanted and the girl fell unconscious. Picking the three unconscious bodies and tying them together, the trio changed into the young scientists' clothes.

Yuu signalled Kimizuki and Mitsuba that it was clear. With that, the both if them came forward and stayed in position while the Hyakuyas continued on to the witch hunters' base.

"Yoichi, get to the third floor audience. You'll assist them from above, I'll stay on ground." Shinoa instructed. With a firm nod, Yoichi went up.

Entering the witch hunters' base was like entering an scientist experiment laboratory. The witches trapped behind the glass wall, in cubicals most being unconscious. All of their eyes glow red, but those eyes look tired and lifeless. What did they do to them? Akane frowned in anger. A man in uniform approached them, he was the person who was speaking in the billboard sign. The one who caused the all the witches here to appear lifeless. Akane slightly backs away, she was held by Mika who smiled, "nice to meet you sir, we're the trainees sent here to assist you." The man grinned, "you must be Ikki and Ikku. And the girl, Shizuka." Akane bowed her head, avoididng eye contact. He led them to the experiment lab, "here are the ones you need to assist."

The trio looked around, there was no one there. Yuu questioned, "there's no one here." The man smirked, "exactly, get in" he pushed them towards the end of the wall. He pressed a button and they were trapped inside one of the cubical. "You think I don't know a witch when I see one?" He said in triumph. Akane clenched her fist, "you monster!" She exclaimed, "Sou gran fa out." She chanted.

The man laughed, "this is witch proof. Try your best witch, but today, you'll die with all your race in here. And thanks to you, your human and vampire friend will be exterminated along with you." Akane protested, "you can't do that! Killing humans and vampires would ahow how merciless you are and ruin your reputation!" He chuckled, "you're witch and you're so naive, I'm killing a witch, along with those who help her. See you in the extermination ground." He left them behind the glass wall, powerless.

"I'm sorry, it's all my fault." Akane voiced out as she slide down the wall and knelt on the floor.
