Up the mountain we go
Coming from far below
We will not stop
Until we reach the top.
Sometimes a trail leads to nothing
And that can sting
Having to set footsteps back
Feeling like a huge setback.
How long it will take we do not know
But it will not make us feel low
We will keep trying
Until we are dieing.
The journey can be tough
Put on a smile and laugh
We continue until we achieve
What a relief.
It can be overwhelming
Though keep in mind one thing:
Many metres up or just a few
Do not forget to enjoy the view.
