The meeting was called to a close and everyone left the room except Tony, Pepper, Peter and Happy who just walked.
"W-were you being serious?" Peter looked up at Tony, still in his seat from the shock.
"Congrats Kid," Happy smiled.
Tony pulled the teen up into a heartfelt side hug, "I'm always serious, Underoos."
"But this is crazy! I'm only 15, I can't run a multinational company! Oh my God, what is Aunt May going to say? What about school," Peter then finally said, freaking out.
"Kid, calm down," Tony tried to keep the kid from hyperventilating.
"Peter," Pepper spoke firmly, grabbing his attention, "Nothing is going to change yet. You will only take over when Tony and I retire. We also asked Aunt May for her permission yesterday. You'll finish high school and go to university like everyone else." Peter relaxed, no longer about to hyperventilate, but seemed to need to think the new title over.
"I'm gonna go find something to do," Peter said shakily and exited the room. He completely missed the Tony's next words on confirming with Pepper they they were going to pay for his education too.

Peter walked down to one of the lower levels where he knew he could work on more mindless projects while he thought but ended up walking into a room for tour projects. He paused as he realized that his class was in there working on simple robotics. He silently walked across and sat down next to Ned who was working alone. He could use the support.
"You connected the pneumatics in backwards," he commented and Ned jumped slightly but smiled.
"Hey man, how's it going?" Ned asked as he switched the tubing.
"I don't know dude," Peter ran a hand through his styled back hair. His suit jacket was off and the dark blue sleeves of his dress shirt were rolled up, he was also missing the red tie he had on earlier.
"What happened? You seemed to be doing pretty well in that meeting," Ned looked over concerned before moving over to the small tablet to check the instructions and coding.
"Dude, you saw that?" Peter asked wide-eyed.
"Flash started making comments about you and it seemed to piss off Happy so he took us to watch your presentation. No sound though. Those were the blueprints for the StarkWatch right?" Ned said.
"He made me the heir," Peter confessed.
Ned faltered and looked at his friend, "he-he made you the heir, like of the company? Dude that's so cool!" He whisper-yelled, beginning his spiel on how cool that was and what it meant.
Peter waited a few seconds before stopping his friend, "but what if I'm not ready, Ned? What if I mess it up? I don't want to let Mr. Stark down," he fidgeted with his hands in his lap.
MJ snorted from the next station over, "you're ready." She gave a shrug as she continued, "you know, considering how smart you are and how well you did in that boring ass meeting room." She then promptly turned back to her own robot.
"She's not wrong," Ned shrugged and turned back to his work as well. Peter groaned as he layed his head on the table.
Wow.
You guys either don't care about my writing or have a lot of patience. Jeez, no one ranted at me to update this and its been like two months.
But thanks so much for reading this anyways, I really like to see if I can make someone happy by my works here.
So if I take too long to update, please tell at me. I've honestly been procrastinating with a PJO/Avengers crossover (there's actually like three though lol) so tell me if you'd like to see some of that stuff.
Anyway, I hope your holidays were/still are fun.
Love you all! -Ghost
