jimin thought tae was going to pass out, he was laughing so hard.

"you didn't even say hi?" the taller wheezed, eyes tearing up.

"for the last time, i just spaced! it wasn't my fault," he whined, placing a large box of cup noodles into the shopping cart.

his roommate didn't stop laughing until they were checking out.

"your total is 70,000 won."

jimin froze. he knew that voice.

reluctantly, he lifted his gaze to meet his soulmate's doe-like eyes. the taller started smiling as soon as he recognized him.

"ah! jimin, right? you teach dance with hoseok-hyung!"

he nodded, tongue going limp in his mouth once more.

"jiminie, is this who you were talking about? from the dance-"

tae's eyes widened as jimin kicked his shin as hard as he could.

"the hell was that for, pabo!?"

he ignored him and fished his wallet out of his pocket to pay for their groceries. jimin wanted to leave before taehyung embarrassed him any more. he handed his soulmate, whose name he still didn't know, the money and smiled weakly. the other took it, still smiling at him.

"have a nice day!"

before they got too far away, jimin snuck a glance at his name tag.
