The world is colorful,
So why do we remain colorblind?
Out of the million reasons to be happy,
Why do we search for one that leaves us crying?
Maybe we're imperfect,
But what isn't in this world?
It doesn't mean we're incapable
Or that it's something in our blood.
Because, sweetheart, if you only believe
You could do so much, so much more than just grieve.
The world has had enough of sadness,
So let's try something else.
Something that tells us it's true,
That we can be proud of ourselves.
For if the world is colorful,
Why should we remain colorblind?
And out of the million reasons to be happy,
Why should we search for one that leaves us crying?
