"Hey, Aricka, your parents texted, and they said that something came up, and they have to go on a business trip for a few weeks. You're staying with me for awhile," Thomas says the next morning. Aricka was used to this. Thomas was basically family now, and it wasn't uncommon for her parent to tell her to pack a bag, and that she was going to "Uncle T's house," as he's sometimes called-Uncle T, not Uncle T's house. Aricka nods, and says,
"Cool."

Patton and Aricka were making cookies when they heard a cry of "OUCH!" come from the living room, followed by Logan asking, "Who are you?"
The pair walk in, and Aricka freezes. So does the girl on the floor.
Aricka knows this girl all too well. "Roma?" it was a quiet whisper, but they all heard it. "Please don't let this be a dream."
"I don't think it's a dream, Aricka, because I can see you, and you can see me," Roma says, standing up on two shaky legs. "It's really me." she strikes a cheesy pose. "Ta-dah!"
That was all it took for Aricka to run over and hug Roma.

"You-you're real!" she exclaims. "You're real, and you're here-HOW!"
"I don't know!" Roma replies. "One minute, I wasn't here, the next, bada bing, bada boom here, I am!" they separate, and that's when Patton exclaims,
"Wait-she's taller than you, Aricka!" and now that she was looking, Aricka realized Roma WAS taller than her, maybe by six inches. (Aricka is 5'3 1/2'')
"Well, I am short," Aricka points out. "But that makes sense, I mean, you guys aren't all the same height as Thomas." a pause, then, "WAIT!"
"Ow," Logan mutters, rubbing his ears.
"If you're here-is Logann, Pat, and Vira here, too?"
"Yep," Roma answers with a smile that mirrored Aricka's. "They're all waiting to meet you. Who do you want to meet now?"
