Shawn bit his finger, thighs widely spread, sitting in his classic, relaxed pose, as he looked around the small room in search of somebody he hadn't given his attention to yet. With the corner of his eye, he could sensor a girl in the front row, sitting on the ground, deeply involved in her phone. He brushed it off and took the finger out of his mouth to point it out to a blonde girl in the back of the room.

"You, honey," he gasped, forcing everybody in the room to vocalize in 'aw,' to which he rolls his eyes with a chuckle.

Shawn still saw the girl in the front row with his side sight, but she hadn't even moved her head yet, which started to annoy him. Why is she here if she clearly doesn't care about him? There are so many fans that would love to be here and present, but instead, she doesn't even interact with other fans, so stuck in her phone. He almost wishes he had agreed when it was suggested to disallow any devices while private q&a's.

"Hi, Shawn! Hopefully, you enjoy our city," the voice of the blond girl snapped him back into reality, and he smiled nodding his head, "I wanted to ask you; if you had to remove one song from the album which one would it be?"

Shawn widened out his eyes, leaning slightly back, as the room got filled with laughter at his reaction, but still none from the girl in the front row. He took a few seconds before sighing, making everybody laugh again.

"Ugh, that's a tough question! Why would you ask me that? So cruel," he playfully responded, loving the reaction he got at his silly jokes, "Well, I think... wow, that's a tough one. Andrew, what you think, eh?" he turned his head to his manager standing next to the door, and Andrew chuckled shrugging his shoulders.

"The question was referred to you!" somebody shouted out from the back of the room, and everybody laughed again.

Shawn shook his head looking around, this time entirely seeing the girl in the corner of the front row, still on her phone. He felt blood rush to his cheeks when she finally looked up at him for a moment. He wasn't sure if he blushed because of her behavior and the angriness boiling up inside him, or because of her eyes. He met them for a second only, but the warm-toned color of her eyes pulled him in. They were playful and funny and pretty, keeping a sense of intelligence. When she looked down at her phone again, Shawn sighed and looked at the blonde girl, trying to concentrate.

"I hate to break this to you, but 'Perfectly wrong,'" he said, as the crowd synchronized in a disappointed sound, "no, don't get me wrong! I love the song, but it is very personal, and it was hard to put it on the album in the first place. And I feel like I can write a whole new album just based on that song. Like it deserves special attention, you know?" he hummed, making all of the people in the room smile at him, nodding, and he exhaled in relief.

His finger returned to his mouth, and he continued to bite on it trying to find somebody new when he realizes that he actually hasn't yet picked out somebody from the front row. He knows that very soon he'd be running out of time and that it is unfair to others to give a chance to somebody who clearly doesn't give a shit, but the girl in the corner of the front row intrigued his curiosity. Why would she be here? What is so important on her phone? Is she actually here because she wanted to piss off somebody? She seemed lost in the room, she didn't fit there, didn't have the same smile, didn't give her attention, didn't even react to his reactions. What was her fucking problem? Shawn looked in her direction to find her on her phone again, and as the anger hit him in the head, he spoke loudly, forcing her to jump up from her place. He didn't even realize that he clearly sounded mad until her slightly frightened eyes finally met his.

"Do you have a question for me?" his tone sounded threatening.

She looked around to see if he was referring to somebody else, but when the girls around her chuckled and whispered something to her, she met his eyes again slightly confused. Shawn waited patiently, clearing out his throat, having the limit of time in the back of his mind.

"I don't think I do," she spoke, biting her lips.

Everybody in the room, including Shawn, stared at her in awe, shocked at her response. She didn't sound afraid or confused anymore, her tone was confident and slightly... mocking? Shawn was getting more annoyed with her. The way she held herself... but more the way she looked. So beautiful but something was so disturbing... but not in a wrong way. It was confusing to him.

"You don't think so?" he raised his eyebrow, smirking at her shrugging her shoulders.

Everybody in the room let out a loud groan and 'boo's, but Shawn was quick to calm them down by raising his arm in the air. She wasn't reacting to them, however. Shawn even felt the worry growing inside Andrew. They had never dealt with someone like her before.

"Are you sure you're supposed to be here? I'm Shawn," he waved at her, smiling, "do you want me to ask you a question?"

Andrew furrowed his eyebrows, amused but also surprised at Shawn's response. In a way it was a good one; he clearly still kept his politeness and sounded so interesting to the fans, exposing a new side of himself.

"I don't really mind," she smiled, and Shawn could swear his heart skipped a beat.

She looked like an angel sent from above, even though it sounded so cliche. Her smile lightened up her face, and if a second before Shawn was convinced she was a devil, her smile made him think otherwise. She stared at him still keeping the smile on, looking so innocent and pretty, he felt embarrassed for staring back at her.

"Okay," he nodded, looking around again, trying to focus.

For a moment he catched Andrew's curious gaze, and it slightly brought Shawn back into the game. It was his turn to be playful, to seem like he was chill and funny. He had to pull her back into the room, made her become the part of the atmosphere.

"What's your favorite place in the city?" he asked, turning back to meet her eyes.

She bites her lips, fingers running letting go of the phone and now playing with the ends of her hair, as she thinks for a few seconds. Allowing Shawn to imagine the way he would run his fingers through her hair, and how he would love to know what was on her mind. If a minute ago he hated the lack of her attention, now it all seemed like a game to him. The game she started, but he will finish.

"There is a really good vinyl record shop a few blocks down here," she responded, tilting her head, "why would you ask about my favorite place?"

The crowd in the room didn't understand what was happening. Andrew crossed his arms at his chest, looking back and forth in between Shawn and this girl. The tension between the two would grow bigger and bigger within each second, everyone now expecting Shawn to answer. He gulped down with a short smile, valuing his next question and the consequences of saying it out loud. Andrew wouldn't like it for sure, he will kill him. All of these people might not be happy too. But the moment was so perfect, he couldn't just let go of it.

"Because I wanted to ask you something else too," he spoke slowly, "would you like to go on a date with me to that shop?"

Head of every single person snapped back at the girl, who breathed in loudly. She didn't expect this at all, her heart was pounding so rapidly she was afraid they would hear the sound of her heartbeat.

"Ah... w-why?" she asked again.

"Maybe you could tell me what's so much more interesting than me that's on your phone," Shawn smirked, knowing that he won.

The game was finished, and he won it by confusing the heck out of her. He even felt guilty for a second, until Andrew loudly sighed in disappointment, and the whole room got filled with a laughter. Shawn relaxed and chuckled himself, leaning back into his position, now looking at her with more confidence, as she still stared at him mouth open, not sure what to say.

"Say 'yes'!" somebody shouted from the back again, and she quickly turned to look there, letting out a chuckle.

And Shawn couldn't resist to laugh at that too. As the comments added up from each side, both of them bursted into a laughter, when she finally found the ability to speak.

"Yeah, okay! I will go on a date with you," she smiled forcing him to blush in amusement, "just give me a second to text that to my little sister. She was supposed to be here today, so I'm trying to make it work," she smiled again, exposing her little secret that drove Shawn crazy this whole time.
