everyone else may have drifted away
but I will always have the moon to
look at and love and talk to, always.
no matter how far I go,
or how long my travels'll be
the moon will always be there
safe and sound near me.
even if I'm lost and alone
and there's no place to go
I can still call the moon
my eternal temporary home.
