IMPORTANT, MUST READ:
Ignore all times that Percy Jackson books take place, as they are to be set a few decades before Black Panther (that is the Marvel movie that takes place during this book). The year is 2018 right now as I am writing this note, and this book will be in 3rd POV unless said otherwise. This is not an entirely Percabeth book, sorry for all of you Percabeth shippers. This is supposed to be an emotional book as I get further into the story, but I will not make Percy seem too weak or unable to help himself after he escapes HYDRA.

During the actual story, if the writing is not bolded, but it is italicized, it is a dream or flashback or thinking internally. It will be pretty clear which one it is. Use your brains, people! 😂

There are possibly torture scenes/thoughts in this book. No, there actually will be mature scenes. Viewer discretion advised. There will be death scenes almost every chapter because Percy is dealing with HYDRA after all, so if you are triggered by death, please do not read this book. This book is not for you.
