Chapter 3 - Shadowing Percy Jackson
Percy appeared back in his rundown apartment, exhaustion overtaking his senses. Teleporting always sapped his energy, so he decided to only use it in extreme cases. And it had been an extreme case—he was running from the police. It is better to not let them see their target anymore than needed, then continuously get glimpses and hints of where he is.
Percy collapsed on his bed, but not before checking his apartment for intruders. A wanted criminal can never be too cautious.
Allowing a light sleep to overcome him, he closed his eyes to the world, slipping into the edges of dreamland.
