Jungwoo stares at the door, which doesn't look half as welcoming as it did from the outside.

The wood looks more poop than chocolate now, and he's been standing in front of it for too long now. The bell rang, what—two, three minutes before? He doesn't even know why he's freaking out.

Jun glares at him from behind, which Jungwoo shouldn't be able to see—but he can almost feel the laser eyes digging into his back.

"Just open the goddamn door." He scowls.

The bell rings again, making the blond flinch.

"Yeah, yeah." He sucks in his breath through his teeth, says a prayer under his breath, and pushes the door open.

What he finds is one of those biker dudes.

Minus the attire.

The visitor has dyed, shaggy hair, neon blue streaks on black. A tan forehead peeks out from underneath his bangs, and his lips are thin and pale, accentuated by a square-ish, but more delicate jawline. Overall, very aesthetic. Chittaphon on ten.

Jungwoo stares.

The boy in front of him blinks, looking surprised for a moment, and then offers him a friendly smile. "Uh, hey?" He scratches the back of his head awkwardly, looking unsure. "Is Yukhei home?"

The blond snaps out of it, shaking is head—more to get himself back on track than to answer in the negative. "He—he's out." He bites his lip. "If you have a message or something, um, I could..."

Great, now his sounds like a telephone operator.

"No, that's okay." The boy smiles, and oh my god, the smile is precious. "I actually needed to meet Kunhang."

"Oh." Jungwoo nods, finally realising what he's supposed to do. "Yeah, he's here."

"Great!" The visitor smiles once again, clapping his hands together. "Well...I'm Jason, their next-door neighbour," He gestures in the direction of the house, "and, you must be Lucas's friend?"

"Yeah." He breathes, blinking erratically and cursing his friend for being so lucky to have a neighbour as good looking. "Jason?"

"Jason."

"Like," He scrunches up his nose. "J-A-S—"

"J-A-E-S-U-N, Jaesun." The boy smiles politely, looking weirded out. "I'm pretty sure Jason isn't usually a girl's name."

Jungwoo stares again, with slightly wide eyes. "Oh, you're—" He cuts himself off, realising how that could be rude, and then fakes a laugh. "You're the Jaesun."

Nice save.

He—shegives him an unsure look. "Uh, I...am?"

"Yeah, the one Kunhang talks about all the time." He smiles wide to emphasize his statement when, in fact, this is the first time he's heard of her. He seems to have a knack for making temporary saves that land him from the frying pan into the fire. "That one."

Jaesun raises her eyebrows. "Oh, he does?"

"Yup." He purses his lips, and then smiles a nervous smile. "All the time."

"Oh," She nods slowly, looking at him. "That's funny."

Jungwoo's lips twitch. "Why?"

"Because he doesn't talk about much except Beethoven." Jaesun says, looking like she's trying hard not to smile. "So."

"Ah, well..." He wants to melt into a puddle already. "It must be because you have a very charismatic personality, Jaesun."

Then he closes his eyes in defeat, letting his forehead hit the side of the half-open door, proceeding to cringe at himself.

The girl laughs, shaking her head. "Sure." She grins, making him look up feebly. "Now, could I come in?" He nods, still embarrassed. "And just call me Jae. The sun part sounds way too formal."

Then, without any prelude, she proceeds to march past him inside the house, still smiling. Jungwoo closes the door softly, sure that the memory of this moment is going to keep him awake at night.

Then he remembers Dejun.

"Oh," He whirls around, eyes wide, fully intending to save the damsel in distress as he faces the twelve year old seated at the couch. "Jae—"

"'Sup, Jun." The girl shoots at the boy with fingers guns, before taking the stairs. To the blond's immense surprise and offence, Jun looks up—looks upand nods at her in acknowledgement, with a hint of a smile on his face.

Jungwoo draws himself up, hurt.

"I'll be upstairs if you need me." Jaesun calls out, and Jungwoo's not sure if she's referring to Jun or him.

He stares, jaw hanging open, at the emo-slash-goth boy sitting at the couch, his green Gatorade resting in his lap. Dejun flips back his overgrown black bangs, twisting the orange cap between his forefinger and thumb and taking a short gulp straight from the bottle. It's not hard to imagine beer in its place.

Then he turns his satanic eyes to the gaping blond, narrowing them irritatedly. "What're you looking at, puss?"

Jungwoo's mouth snaps shut, and he turns away robotically, pretending he didn't hear anything.

"And get me some Nutella from the kitchen!"
