~*~ Lewis's POV ~*~

"Lewis," My Dad sighed heavily. "Your mother is dying. I don't understand why you won't come and see her."

"You wouldn't understand if I told you either." I grumbled. He sighed again and then ran his hand through his graying hair. The look in his eyes told me he wanted to leave, but he stayed put. We were quite for what seemed like ages. "I think you should leave, Dad."

"Yeah." He nodded "See ya." Probably not, but whatever. He hurried out the door without another word. Crazy old man, what he expect coming here? I already had told him over the phone I didn't want to see my mother. So what does he do? Flies a few states over so I can tell him no in person. Whatever, hopefully now he will leave me alone.
