Horror Movie marathon

Person A and Person B end up inviting some friends over to watch horror movies. You can decide how this happened.

Did Person A beg Person B to watch horror movies and then they called friends to join them? Was it because of a bet? Are they just bored?

How does each person react? Is Person A easily scared? Is Person B protective? Is someone (playfully) made fun of for being a chicken?

How does the night end? What happens when the invited friends leave?

Here's an example:

Let's go with Person A being easily frightened and only agreed to this because Person B loves scary movies.

Who are they to each other? Lovers? Siblings? Close friends?

Let's go with lovers.

After the marathon is over, the invited friends leave. They had all come over to A and B's shared apartment. A and B eat some food and go to bed. Person B has little trouble relaxing. Person A, however, can't sleep and when they manage to fall asleep, they have waking nightmares. Eventually, this wakes Person B up. Person B immediately tries to comfort A. They snuggle up and, feeling safe in B's arms, Person A falls asleep and their nightmares go away.
