She was seeing something dreadful,
Having the darkest of thoughts,
Never had she been more fearful,
Never had been more distressed.
The worst feeling for her was watching him get hurt,
Seeing him break apart right in front of her very eyes,
Nothing could be done to save him from being burnt,
Burnt by the fire that was killing his every ounce.
He was trapped in a place from where there was no coming back,
There indeed was a solution but hidden so far beneath,
That no one could find it and bring the old boy back,
All his people were longing to see that beautiful smile on his face once again.
But he was so lost and blinded by his grief,
By his pain that he lost the will to help himself,
He had lost everything he had, had lost all his belief,
Belief in love, in happiness, in everything.
Everyone told her that he had changed,
That she made him the person he never was,
The considerate one, the one who placed,
Placed all her needs before him.
He was the one ready to sacrifice his soul,
For the one who was not even ready to face him,
This had left an empty place, a hole,
That nothing could fill, no one could replace.
No one heard him laugh anymore,
Neither did anyone saw him smile,
He had a pain so deep, that had left him sore,
All he loved and had was lost somewhere far away.
