You left me but never exited my thoughts
You burnt my wishes but not the glory I brought
Walked me towards a rainbow
and then showed me darkness
I thought it was fine
Until I realized you were a bad dime
Called me names
Told the lies and when that wasn't enough you thought I lost my pride?
But let me remind you, what power I hold
It isn't found in hell nor in God
You can do whatever you please
But darling never give me a chance to make you scream
I have suffered the darkness long enough to recognize its shape
I have blinded my vision with wisdom and spite
So back off before this bites
The pain or suffering or the mortified crimes they always get back to you
Without any reason or rhyme.
