This morning sickness kicked my ass night

and day. It was the worst. I had been feeling

like shit for almost two weeks and I didn't feel

like it was getting any better. I was told by

many women that the symptoms usually fade

away around 3 or 4 months but that's didn't

seem to be the case for myself.

I sat in the room of the doctors office as I

displayed the symptoms to my doctor. "Tell me

what's going on?" She asked. "The morning

sickness is terrible. I can't sleep, I can't keep

food down, and I've been throwing up like

crazy and I'm really uncomfortable. Is it

supposed to be this bad?" I questioned. Lea

was standing by my side as she answered like

she was the doctor. "All pregnant women get

morning sickness. It's perfectly normal. Right

doc?" She spoke to the doctor in an

energetically manor. "Morning sickness can

have an affect on women in different ways. I

want you to eat right and don't do anything

that will cause stress on you or the baby. I'm

going to give you these tablets that are

perfectly safe and FDA approved. They may

make you a bit sleepy, but they may help. Take

two a day. One in the morning and one at

night." She insisted. "Thank you doctor Mia. I

appreciate all your help." I said.

I mean I really was thankful. I needed

something to put me out of my misery. I just

wanted to feel better and have a healthy baby.

I sat in the passenger seat of the Audi. It was

the car Antwan bought me on my birthday. I

was too sick to drive so Lea drove me around.

"I can't wait to meet the baby!" She said with

excitement as she touched my stomach. " Do

you want a boy or a girl?" She asked. This was a

different Lea then I had been dealing with

before. She was almost back to herself again

and I was happy.

"I want a girl and Antwan wants a boy of

course." I rolled my eyes while saying this.

Than guilt kicked in as I thought about my

parents. I hadn't spoke to them in months. I
