It all started in a virtual chatroom. There was chatting going on, talking about this and that, but I and this guy were doing some light chit-chat. Going back and forth talking about random things with other people.

We started direct messaging. I didn't think we'd be all that close just because of the vibe he gave off on me. I asked him if he had any other places to talk to each other. Apparently, he didn't have any socials. He had a "girlfriend" that claimed his name was Oliver. He gave me his number and then my predictions that we weren't going anywhere corrected me.

We started talking, digging deeper and deeper into our everyday lives just to find out we have more and more in common. I was pleasantly shocked about how much we have in common. We were both into astrology, music, and art. Hell, it's not every day you find an aesthetically pleasing boy that could easily be mistaken for the boy version of me. That being said, we were also very different. He was originally from Wessex and now lived in Texas.

I told one of my internet best friends, Neha about him. If you know anything about girls, you know that they always tell their best friend about their crush. Which, if it wasn't for Oliver, I wouldn't be as close to her as I am now. We grew apart a while back and it was like our friendship grew 10 times stronger. All because of a boy. She kept saying we were a match made in heaven because he called me "pretty" and other things every girl loves to hear (obviously a big flirt.) Since I'm a stubborn Taurus, I kept saying he would never like me, that it would never go so far.

I found myself getting more interested in him, wanting to message him every 5 minutes. I held back a whole lot because I didn't want to seem clingy. Obviously, I couldn't resist most of the time. I know a lot about myself when it comes to meeting someone I'm interested in, the only thing I can think about is them. We called and talked about things that interested both of us.

We teased each other and all that kind of 'lovey-dovey' stuff. He kept claiming I said he was cute. Which, not gonna lie, he was. My excuses are stupid so he was probably smirking at the fact I can't hide what I like. Eventually, the call ended and we said our goodbyes. I messaged him 24/7. He probably thought I was really annoying, and, I was.

Neha messaged him asking stuff that every girl asks her best friend to ask her crush. The simple "Do you like her?" and other things the girl herself is too shy to ask about. She told me he felt the same way and, of course, I freaked out. Who wouldn't? She insisted that he should ask me out, which was really fast considering the fact we've only talked for 2 days. The phone call was awkward, I said "Sure I guess" although I could feel my heart beating. He obviously thought it was a little too soon too.
