{Uchiha Itachi x Reader} Konoha-012 [DISCONTINUED]

Chapter 13

I led my team sprinting towards the tower. Luckily, we made it there first. We opened the scrolls in front of the big wall art. A chūnin showed up, congratulated us and led us to the big room for the third exam. He told us to wait for everybody else to show up.

The Third Hokage showed up with a whole bunch of Jonin and Special Jonin. I spotted Might Gai. He seemed to be having fun. I want to be like him one day. Not caring about what others think, having a best friend to rant to and challenge, to train someone who admires me as purely and innocently as Rock Lee.

Snap out of it, Y/N!! You can't ever have a life as beautiful and pure as he and the other Leaf ninja do. You've made a commitment to Kirigakure and you will honor that promise 'til the day you die!!!

Right. Ah. Good pep talk.

"Y/N, they're doing preliminaries. Who do you want to fight? I wanna fight Shino," Azu told me.

"I want to fight someone easy to humiliate. That'd be fun!" Suigetsu butted in.

"Ooh. Good call Suigetsu-kun. I wanna fight...hm. Anyone but Gaara. I've decided! I'm gonna fight Sasuke!" I said.

Time skip~ to when the battles start:

"The first match will be between *cough* Sasuke Uchiha and Y/N *cough* L/N," the sickly-sounding proctor announced.

"Yay!! I'm ready! I'm ready! Imma kick that little jerk's ass!" I jumped and shouted.

Sasuke merely smirked and headed down the stairs to the battle area. I, in turn, vaulted over the rail and landed on the ground across from Duckbutt.

"Are you two *cough* ready?"—Sasuke and I nodded—"Well, battle begin!"

Sasuke smirked arrogantly and came towards me with a couple shuriken in his knuckles. He threw them at me and I simply dodged. The shuriken followed me.

Ugh. I can't believe this. I can't go easy on him, but I gotta keep my strength on the down low.

I quickly grabbed a kunai knife and batted the shuriken away. I sped up to him and gave him a smirk.

He rushed toward me. I dodged and hit him in the jaw with my ass. He promptly passed out. (A/N: you get a shoutout if you can identify my reference)

I walked away, not realizing that Sasuke was standing back up.

"Did you really think I was done?" A growling voice came from behind me.

I turned around and, to my surprise, Sasuke was standing back up while cloaked in a monstrous, ugly chakra.

Shit. Orochimaru. That stupid snakey bastard.

"Yeah. I did. Wow. That snake sure did a number on you, didn't he?" I said the last part so that only Sasuke could hear.

"Come at me, bitch," Sasuke growled.

"Ohhh. You are gonna regret that!" I said in a singsong voice.

I ran at him and he sliced my lower leg with his kunai. I returned the favor by slicing his chest with my chakra blade. He flinched and stopped in his tracks. I went inside his mind.

Itachi would be so disappointed... his little brother losing to a girl in the Chūnin exams. How sad is that? Anyway, it's time to finish you.

I kicked Sasuke in the balls and he fell down. I knocked him out with a pressure point.

"Damn. How infuriating. I thought this'd be harder," I commented and the proctor checked Sasuke.

"He's out cold. The winner of this preliminary round is Y/N L/N."

Every other genin in the room's POV:

"That was terrifying."

Y/N's POV:

I went back up to the upper level. Suigetsu greeted me with a fist bump and Azu gave me a high five.

Several fights later...

"Azu! Azu! Azu!" Suigetsu and I cheered after Azu beat Shino.

"Next! Kankuro and Suigetsu Hozuki!"

"You go, Suigetsu-kun!"

Time skip~ because your author is a damn lazy person:

Kankuro and his puppet were lying on the floor. Suigetsu had beaten him soundly. He rejoined Azu and me, and much to his surprise, I gave him a small kiss on the cheek. He grinned and blushed.

Our team left the room before they actually finished. I had to report to Takashi-sama and Dawn-001.
