Chapter 14

I trained with Azu and Suigetsu for days upon days. We each tried to find techniques that would counter our weaknesses.

We succeeded for the most part.

Three days before the final round, I was contacted by Takashi-sama.

Konoha-012, you have to leave now. You must meet up with Dawn-001 in less than two days.

But sir, the Chunin exams aren't over yet!

-012, becoming Chunin isn't a necessary part of the plan. You will be seen as a much higher rank very soon.

O-of course, sir. I'll inform Azusa and Suigetsu.

Good. Meet -001 at 1:53 A.M. the day after tomorrow at the place where you met Zabuza-sama.

"Azusa! Suigetsu-kun!" I called to them from the living room.

"Yes, Y/N-chan?" Suigetsu walked towards me and sat down, with Azu following behind.

"We have to leave now. Takashi-sama says we don't have time for the rest of the Chunin exams."

"Oh. Well, let's get packing," my older sister replied.

I led my team out of the village. We reached the place where we needed to go across the water.

"Kuchiyose no jutsu!" We chanted in unison.

Sylvia and her two siblings, Thomas and Gracie, appeared.

"Sylvia, it's time to go," I told my serpent.

"Oh," she seemed surprised, "then hop on!"

Suigetsu was on Thomas's back, Azu was on Gracie's, and I was on Sylvia's as we headed to the meeting place.

"Bye, guys!" Azu called as we walked away from our sea serpents.

"Bye!" the reptiles called in unison.

We walked a little farther and found ourselves at the meeting place with a minute to spare.

We sat down backs to backs.

"Ah, Konoha-012, Suna-019, and Kiri-187," a voice announced its presence and we turned to see...
