"Oh Heya Steve,we still doin movie night later tonight?"I asked while getting off the couch
"Oh shoot I forgot!Soda,Sandy,Evie,and I have a double date...sorry y/n"Steve said with no emotion at all
I nodded slowly and turned my face away quickly,this is the 5th time he's blown off our movie night hang out time.Sure I was only his best friend but we have to have some time to hang out as well. It always broke my heart knowing that Steve would never look at me in that way,like I did with him.I sat back down next to Two Bit.
"Sorry next time"Steve retorted
"Yeah I don't care"I snickered at him,he would always say the same thing and by now I stoped believing him.
Soda sat next to me and gave me a look of sympathy,I rolled my eyes and then just looked down.
"I say..you should just tell him you like him,yeah I know he has Evie but come on we all know she's cheated on him and the only reason he keeps taking her back is because he's afraid of letting go,It wouldn't hurt y/n"Soda spoke softly
I sighed and looked back up at Soda
"I don't know Soda,if I tell him it can ruin our friendship.."I spoke quietly
"That's his lost y/n alright,I've known you for so long and you're an amazing girl and if Steve doesn't see it then he's a fool.Trust me I think this could go somewhere"Soda assured me and then got up and went to go get ready
I thought about it but I just don't know when I'd tell him,when the prefect timing would be.
A knock came from the door and I went to go open it.Evie and Sandy stood there
"Whatcha girls doin here?"I asked
"We decided we should pick our boys up this time"Sandy said with a sweet smile
I nodded my head and let them in
"Soda,Steve your woman are here!"I yelled
Sandy sat in the couch watching tv,Evie looked at me.She had this dirty look on her face
"Y/n can we talk?In the kitchen?"Evie said with a sassy tone
I shook my head and we walked towards the kitchen
"What's up?"I questioned
"Look,Leave Steve alone I get it you're his best friend but I feel like you always want him to yourself,He's my boyfriend alright!And I don't appreciate it you always being around him.So please back off"She snickered at me
"You know what?Steve never hangs out with me because you always want to be with him!Yeah sure you're his girlfriend but I'm best friend and I don't appreciate you cheating on him! So fuck you!"I shouted loudly
"What the heck is going on here?"
I looked over and saw Steve standing there,I was about to explain to him what happened but he cut me off.
"Seriously y/n!Why are you yelling at Evie?!Ugh I swear to god you ruin everything!"He shouted at me
My heart broke into a million of pieces,I nodded slowly and I looked over at Evie who had a bitchy smile one.I looked over at Steve and tears had rolled down my cheeks and I walked out.
I walked out into the cold,I decided to walk to the lot.Hopefully Johnny would be there since he wasn't at the gangs.

I arrived and I didn't see Johnny,I sighed and walked over to the seat.I sat down and I just cried,I couldn't believe Steve would choose her.But of course it's always her,always has been..
No ones POV
"Steve,look go talk to y/n"Soda spoke kindly to his best friend who was just realizing what he did.
"Soda..she yelled at Evie"He shot back
"Look Steve,The Reasons was Because Evie was telling her that she should back off of you and she was being extremely rude to her,I know because I heard her"Soda spoke
Steve looked back at Evie who was trying to come up with a way to convince Steve it was a lie
"Leave"Steve pointed to the exit
"But Steve I love you"She spoke
"No just go"She nodded and left,Sandy was talking to Soda.
"Just go talk to y/n she's your best friend"Soda said softly
"I messed up,but I'll try"Steve sighed and headed out the door to try to get forgiveness from the girl that was madly in love with him.
Your POV
[of course he wouldn't love me like that,it's always been Evie always been her.He would only believe her because they "love"each other.How is it even love if she cheated on him!Gosh dang it Steve!]
I soon got out of my thought once I heard footsteps nearby.At first I thought it was a socs but I then realized it was Steve.I quickly wiped away my tears.
"Y/n..."He spoke quietly and softly
"What?"I said in a stern voice,trying to cover up the fact that I'm on the edge
"Look,Soda explained to me everything that happened..I feel like such an idiot!I should've never believed Evie,I mean she's a cheater ugh I'm so sorry y/n...I feel like a complete asshole,I should've never said any of those things and I should've just let you speak to me.."He looked at me,I could tell he meant everything
"Steve..I wouldn't try to hurt your relationship with her..but you always have to know I would never lie to you about anything..yeah I'm hurt that you yelled at me and stuff..I just don't know"I spoke softly
He nodded and then looked at the ground
"I broke up with here..well I told her to leave but she knows it means we're done..I should've realized it sooner..."Steve said
"Actually I did realize it but I didn't say anything because I was scared that either got the wrong impression or that you wouldn't like me like that..y/n I've always liked you more than a friend and I tried pushing you away by avoiding our personal hang time and taking back Evie..maybe it was wrong heck I know that now but I'm in love with you" He spoke softly, He looked up at me.
I smiled slightly
"I'm in love with you too Steve, always have been"I said leaving in
We both leaned in and our lips barely touching,he leaned in locking out lips.It was a passionate kiss full of care and lust.I felt butterflies in my stomach.I pulled away and smiled.
"Please be mine broad?" He asked
"Of course Steve, I'd love to be yours" I kissed him again and giggled.
"I should've trusted my instincts, it's always been you y/n always has been"Steve smiled
I blushed and we kissed small sweet kisses.We headed to go see the gang and finally tell them the big news.
We were meant for each other,it just took time for us to realize..well him ;)
