"Appy irthday!" My 3 year old sister shouted as she entered my room. I grunted. "Et up!" She shouted again. I rolled over and grabbed my phone. 4:30am. "Shhhh. Darcey, it's 4:30! I'm not getting up" I whispered. "Pwease?" She begged. "Why don't you come in bed with me and we can cuddle?". I was trying to reason with her. "Okay" she replied. Thank god. She got in and snuggled down. "What's going on?" Tom asked while shifting over. Darcey had climbed over Tom. "Orry Tom. I want to cuddle ith da irhtday irl" she replied. "Hey! What about me?" Tom said, pretending to be offended. Darcey shrugged and cuddled into me. I kissed her head and stuck my tongue out at Tom. He rolled his eyes. "Happy birthday babe" he said while leaning over to kiss me. "Thank you handsome. Love you!" I replied. "Love you too" he replied kissing me more. "Ewww" Darcey said. We both laughed before cuddling down with Darcey. This was already the perfect start to my birthday.
