i woke up in a familar bedroom- not mine, definitely, but jaehyun's. my head was throbbing as i struggle to get out of bed. and i honestly couldn't remember what happened last night.
i opened the door, only to be greeted by an empty living room. i wanted to leave, but i didn't wanna leave without letting jaehyun know.
"jae-" "oh, hey, good morning." jaehyun greeted out of the blue, jaehyun got out from his kitchen, and flashed me a smile. "jaehyun. i, uh, i'll go home now. uh, thank you so much for last night, i really can't thank you enough." i said.
i darted my eyes to jaehyun's, only to find absolute nothing in his. i couldn't tell if he was tired of if something was on his mind. he just looked dull overall. "it's no problem." he said, his voice was monotonous. but he smiled.
i didn't wanna ask him what's wrong, since it's probably none of my business either. i flash him a smile back, "you sure you don't want breakfast?" he asked, and i nodded, "i'll be fine. thank you, jae." i said again.
"here." he said from behind, opening the door for me. i waved him good bye before walking back home on my own.
