The three individuals both sat in silence for a few seconds.

They weren't exactly sure who could be at the door.

Ultimately they nominated Jaehyun to go open it.

He cracked the door ever-so-slightly, and said-
"Oh, Mark."

Jaehyun opened the door in full, and Mark walked in.

He saw Athena in Johnny's embrace, and sighed.

"I'm sorry for my sister causing trouble. I've heard that she's gotten herself in a predicament."
The man huffed.

"Athena, its time for you to come home."
He motioned with his hands.

"he'll know I'm there-"
Athena gave a small whisper.

Johnny heard her small plea for help.

"Mark, do you happen to know what happened?"
Johnny asked, seemingly already knowing the answer.

"Jungwoo informed me that she ran away when they were at his apartment. He couldn't find her and was worried about you, Athena."
Mark stated annoyed.

Johnny could feel Athena shake slightly.
She was scared.

"M-Mark, that's not all that happened."
The girl said quietly.

She seemed scared to speak about the past events to her brother, but she was fine with Jaehyun and Johnny.

Maybe it was because she'd seem like a failure to her elder brother.

"Would you like to enlighten me as we walk to the car then? I'm sure you've overstayed your visit."
Mark spoke walking towards the exit rather rudely.

"Mark-"
Jaehyun intervened.

The man turned around with an annoyed expression on his face.

"Yes?"
He asked.

"Athena- she, well he-"

"Spit it out Jaehyun."
Mark stated, and rolled his eyes.

"Mark, this is serious."
Jaehyun began, and looked back to Athena.
It was almost a telepathic conversation, asking if it was ok to speak about what had happened hours before.

It was a yes.

"Jungwoo hit Athena multiple times today. That's why she ran away. Mark, she's scared. She's scared to go home because he'll know she's there."
He said.

Mark's eyes went wide at the words spoken.
He looked back only now noticing the bruises on her body.
He turned back to Jaehyun in shock.

"He's fond and said terrible things to her. Their relationship seems very abusive."

The man nodded, now saddened to think of his little sister being hurt.

He walked over to Athena who was still in Johnny's lap, and bent down to her level.

"Athena, how come you didn't tell me?"
He asked, sadness in his voice.

"I- I thought you'd be disappointed in me."
She replied, remembering Jungwoo's words.

"I thought you'd think I'm a disappointment, you can manage a company, but I can't even maintain a relationship."
Athena said with the same tone of voice as her brother.

"A-Athena,"
Mark spoke, and his voice and statue were giving signs that tears were soon to come.

"I wouldn't think you were a disappointment. Your my sister, I'd like to think that you would be comfortable telling me your problems."

They exchanged words, and none of them shed a tear. They were sincere, and Athena promised Mark that if anything like this ever happened again, she would tell them.

When they were done, Mark looked up to Johnny.

"Can she stay here tonight? I need to deal with Jungwoo."
He asked.

"It's alright with me, and I'm sure that Jaehyun agrees."
Johnny replied.

Johnny looked to Jaehyun to insure it was fine, and he gave a smile back.

They all said their goodbyes to Mark, and the apartment was quiet again.
