"I know that's not true. It's not Endeavour who's the Hero here.-" My hand went to take his in it, intertwining our fingers and lifting it up to show him our joined hands before continuing. "-It's you, and Izuku and Iida who are the true Heroes."
"Shiro..." His voice was soft, eyes being practically identical to it as he looks at me, the hand that was entwined with mine squeezed back, a smile donning his lips.
"You're a Hero, Shoto. No matter what everyone else thinks. You're a Hero to me."
Just moments ago, All Might had come for our class and informed us of what we'd be doing for the day.
Now, all of us were at Training Ground Field Gamma where what he said a race was to be held at. All Might explained on how there would be five in each batch during the races where they would try to reach the centre of the grounds the fastest they can.
The first batch of five were Sero, Ashido, Ojiro, Iida and Midoriya. The results were somehow anticipated yet surprising when Sero won the race.
"Sero may have taken first place, but you've all figured out new and better ways to use your Quirks since starting school!!-" All Might said, standing before us all with his usual wide grin. "-Keep up the good work as you prepare for your Final Exams!"
With that, the next group was called which coincidentally consisted of Todoroki, Bakugo, Asui, Kirishima and myself.
"This is not gonna end good." Muttering my words out, I stalk towards the front where All Might was waiting, Todoroki by my side as we face our teacher.
"Right! Now, all five of you will should know how this works then! Each of you ave to be at different ends of the grounds. And when the signal is given, all of you will start." All Might briefly explained, looking down at all five of us that stood in front of him, in our Hero Costumes and ready.
Well? Get going, once everyone of you is in place, the signal will be sent shortly after." Shooing us, all five of us then head down from the platform and towards the long corridors under, silence around us until tunnels leading to different directions of the grounds came into sights.
"Hey! Good luck, yeah?" Kirishima grinned, standing by one of the splitting hallways, the rest of us facing the remaining tunnels in front of us as well.
"Tch. Luck won't do shit if I'm the one's that's gonna win this anyway." Bakugo glowered, glaring at all of us before stomping off away into the tunnel he chose.
"Ignore him. We'll all try our best, too. Even if one of us lose, it's all part o the experience." I said, earning a nod from Asui who was standing next to me, looking across to Kirishima then at Todoroki.
"Shiro-chan's right, ribbit. This is for us to learn and adapt to situations, not for competition." She agreed, tongue sticking out slightly from her mouth while Kirishima grinned wider.
