Quirk Data: Lumen

Quirk User: Seirei Shinseina

Quirk Name: Lumen (Originated from the Latin translation of 'Light')

Quirk Summary: Allows the user to control/bend/manipulate elemental abilities of light and pure energy. Being able to harness the energy from the setting of atmosphere/surroundings and also from the user's own stamina.

Drawbacks:

-Causes slight internal bleeding/damage to the user (e.g: Bleeding through nose/ear) and may also cause exhaustion for user that gradually increases depending on severity of over-usage of Quirk.

-May cause slight hallucination and euphoria to the User from over usage. (In short: Slight condition of Highness)

Conditions of Quirk Usage:

Is still usable on normal conditions. But if the user's surrounding atmosphere or vicinity is brighter (e.g: a forest fire), then the Quirk Lumen would be more powerful and stronger than the opposite side. If user uses Lumen in a dark area, attacks and moves will get significantly weaker than usual.  

Abilities:

-Serenity/Heal: By concentrating their energy, the user may have the ability of soothing a person's negative emotions. Serenity may temporarily calm down the intended person until their own body automatically and naturally calms down. This ability may also have the aspect of putting the target to sleep, depending on the amount of the skill Serenity is put onto them. Heal is the ability of which the user may concentrate light energy to mend/create tissue cells to repair/heal wounds. Heal is not capable of regenerating major or fatal injuries/wounds, but may numb or decrease the amount of danger and harm from the injury.  

-Ribbons of Light: Quite self-explanatory. The user has the ability to create multiple ribbons/chains of light energy from the palms of her hands. The skill is able to bind/capture their desired target by simply encasing or wrapping around the person, tightly trapping the victim. The skill may also be used to carry/throw objects or people at a certain distance, depending on the strength or power that is in the skill. Ribbons of Light shoot out from the user's palms at a fast speed, which is fast enough to be able to cut/slice things apart. (not able to cut through hard/thick objects, e.g: buildings, rocks, people. Only able to inflict slight damage to these.)

-Barrier: User creates an almost impenetrable shield around themselves within their desired radius. Barrier is formed with heavily compressed light energy that create into the shape of a dome that can range out to a certain size/radius depending on the user's ability and stamina/energy. The user may create Barrier around another person that is not close/near their body, but the drawbacks may occur much more faster as it takes more energy and stamina from the user to cast such skill.  

Quirk User Required Skill-set/abilities:

The Quirk Lumen channels the ability of mental and emotional elements more rather than physical.

Lumen, which translate from Latin meaning 'Light' can easily be categorised as something towards good, kindness and happiness. The Quirk has the ability to control one's emotions and mental stability at different ranges depending on the Quirk User's desire.

This means that the User must have a good grasp on the Quirk in order to control the fullest capabilities of the Quirk and be able to master how to use the mental effects that the Quirk may bring.

Tampering with both sides of good and bad in one person's mind is extremely dangerous if not controlled properly. Which is why the User must be careful to maintain watchful control over said Quirks regarding Light and Dark elements.
