Chapter 9: Homeworld threats and allies?

Onyx was badly injured as he was blasted into a wall by a green laser beam

Onyx: "A... Agh.... Dammit..."

Onyx fell to his knees coughing as... Peridot walked towards him and held her blaster on her limb enhancer infront of his face as it charged up

Peridot: "Goodbye defect"

A few hours earlier

Onyx and Amethyst were simply hanging out and having fun exploring beach city

Onyx and Amethyst quickly dashed around a corner laughing

Onyx: "Amethyst I can't believe you did that!"

Onyx said laughing as he looked at Amethyst

Amethyst: "Oh come on how could I not?"

Onyx: "You scare that poor kid and his parents"

Amethyst: "How was I supposed to know a giant tarantula would scare them that badly?"

Onyx: "I don't know maybe because it's a giant Spider!? Well anyways that was hilarious sis!"

Onyx and Amethyst high fived and walked away still laughing

With Pearl and Rose

Pearl: "I just think you should tell him Rose"

Rose: "Pearl remember no one can ever know not Garnet or Amethyst or even Onyx"

Pearl: "B.. But Rose if he ever finds out and you didn't tell him he might lose all trust in you"

Rose got a sad look on her face as a tear fell

Rose: "I.... I know Pearl but it's for his safety and all of yours too"

Pearl: "I trust your judgement Rose"

Pearl and Rose both have sad expressions on their faces as Garnet quickly walks up to them with a worried expression on her face

Garnet: "Rose where is Onyx?"

Rose: "Onyx? He and Amethyst just went out. Why is something wrong?"

Garnet: "I had a vision. Rose he's in danger we must find him now!"

Back with Amethyst and Onyx

Onyx and Amethyst were at Fish stew pizza enjoying a plain cheese pizza

Onyx: "I don't know why Pearl doesn't like eating. This food is amazing"

Amethyst smiles and gobbles down three slices

Amethyst: "I know right? I've tried getting her to try it but she never does"

Onyx: "Well every gem has their own taste I guess"

After a few more minutes they finish and Onyx pays

Onyx: "Thanks for the food Kofi!"

Kofi: "Anytime Onyx!"

Onyx and Amethyst leave and walk down the boardwalk for a while

Onyx: "You know.. Amethyst I'm so glad Mom found me and I met all of you"

Amethyst: "Me too bro every day with you is a blast"

Onyx: "Yeah it really is... Amethyst-"

A green laser balst Amethyst into the ground and a red dagger is thrown at Onyx but he catches it inches before it hits his face

Onyx: "AMETHYST!"

Onyx tosses the dagger and goes to help her up

Amethyst: "I... I'm ok bro I... I'm all good.."
