Chapter 13: Light show and the untold

Onyx Amethsyt and Steven were all enjoying the bits like always although Onyx felt a bit guilty

Onyx: "I feel like a traitor. I mean I work at Fish stew pizza, isn't this like cheating on them?"

Amethyst: "So? Enjoy!"

Steven: "Yeah enjoy!"

Onyx sighs before smiling and eating some bits and enjoying himself. Unfortunately this didn't last long as soon enough Steven and Amethyst pointed at the giant red sun coming after them

Onyx: "Amethyst grab Steven and get to the gems!"

Amethsyt nods and grabs Steven before running to the beach with Onyx already almost there. Once there they could see Garnet and Pearl

Onyx: "Garnet Pearl what is that thing!?"

Pearl: "Its a red eye Onyx.. It's designed by homeworld to scan for gems on any planet. What on earth is it doing here..?"

Garnet: "And now we need to destroy it.. Amethyst lets go"

Amethyst: "Wait what?"

Garnet grabs Amethyst and throws her at the red star and Amethyst screams

Onyx: "Umm.... I'm guessing there is something else that can destroy this thing..?"

Pearl: "Actually there is Onyx. But unfortunately it involves Rose's light cannon and we have no idea where it is.."

Steven: "Oh! We can help find it Pearl!"

Pearl: "Well I suppose you guys could.. But we have no clue where it is like I said.."

Steven: "Oh I know who might have it!"

Before Pearl can say anything Steven runs off

Onyx: "He's going to Greg isn't he.."

Pearl sighs and nods

Pearl: "Most likely yes.. Want to go with him Onyx?"

Onyx: "Not really but sure.."

Onyx sighs and walks in the direction Steven went in having an idea of where Greg is at the moment

Pearl then looks at Garnet and frowns

Pearl: "Garnet I'm worried.."

Garnet: "Don't say it.. I already know Pearl.."

Pearl: "I.. It's just ever since.. He just seems like he's holding something in.. And it's not like Onyx to keep his feelings hidden from us.."

Garnet: "I know.. But I also understand he... He saw it happen right infront of him Pearl.. He blames himself despite her telling him its not his fault.."

Pearl: "We're not the only ones that see it.. Amethyst sees it and so does Steven.. Garnet Steven doesn't even know what Onyx was like before.. If he can see it then it's only a matter of time before he tries to help"

Garnet simply sighed and went back to trying to stop the red eye

After a few minutes Onyx walks over to the car wash and sighs as he approaches the van and knocks on it

???: "Just one sec!"

A voice says as falling could be heard before the door opens

???: "Onyx! How's it going?"

Onyx: "It's going alright I suppose.. Greg"

Greg smiles and gets out of the van

Greg: "Yeah it's been a while hasn't it?"
