"Are you guys ready to go yet?" Tony whined. "May only wants you kiddos going Trick or Treating if I'm with you. And I'm not gonna go if I'm cranky."

"Tony." Steve set a hand on his knee. "They only have a couple years left to enjoy this."

"He's right, you know." Stephen sniffed, crossing a leg over the other. "But that's none of my business."

Pepper leaned down over the couch and kissed Tony's forehead, rubbing his shoulders. "They'll only be a few more moments, dear. You should see your kid's costume." She chuckled.

"He's yours too, you know." Tony smiled up at his wife.

Pepper smiled back, heading over to the kitchen.

"Rhodey?" Tony looked over at his friend.

"Yeah, Tony?" He responded, looking up from his phone.

"Would you make me a cup of coffee?"

"I am not making you a cup of coffee," Rhodey said, going back to his game of bejeweled.

"I thought we were friends," Tony teased.

"I'll make you one," Sam said.

"Thank you."

Bucky chuckled from the corner of the couch.

"What are you laughing at?" Steve asked suspiciously.

"Nothin."

"You know, for some reason, I don't believe that."

Bucky smirked evilly. "You know us too well."

"Us?"

Bucky leaned over and whispered something in Steve's ear, in which Steve rolled his eyes in response. "You guys are something else."

"Here you go." Sam handed Tony a cup of coffee. "Nice hot cup of coffee."

Tony took a sip from it. "It's cold."

"Nice cup of coffee."

"It tastes horrible."

"Cup of coffee," Sam said impatiently.

"I'm not sure if this is even coffee."

"Cup," Sam said, face dead as Bucky snickered in the corner.

"Would you like me to make a coffee for you?" Steve asked.

"I'd love that," Tony replied, exhausted.

Tony sipped from his steaming cup. "Honey?"

   "What, Tony?" Pepper called back.

"Isn't Clint supposed to be bringing his kids, too? Where's he at?"

   "Probably late again," Stephen said.

"Or in the vents," Steve pointed out, Sam and Bucky each leaning on one of his shoulders.
