As the moon began to rise, Echostar stood up.
"Mottledstripe, Nightpaw stay out here and guard the cave entrance," she ordered. "Icepaw, Palestripe follow me."
Echostar turned away and began to run into the cave, trailed by Palestripe. Icepaw couldn't see the two cats, but by their scent alone, she knew where they were.
When Icepaw finally reached the cave where the Moonstone was, moonlight trickled through a hole in the roof.
Echostar lay down beside the Moonstone, sharing dreams with StarClan.

The way back was easier than the way here and the four cats made their way back to the camp within no time at all.
Envyclaw and Aidanheart were sharing tongues underneath Highrock, as if they were waiting for the return of their leader.
It had snowed whilst they were gone, as the camp floor was covered in a layer of white powdery stuff.
Icepaw and Nightpaw headed straight to the apprentice den, their paws aching from the long trip.
"I feel like sleeping for a Moon!" Nightpaw meowed as he lay out flat in his nest.
"To be honest, me too." Icepaw mumbled as she tucked her paws in and fell asleep.
