Chapter Five: "Oh Dear God" Pt. Two

"That's why I kissed you."

Josh nodded, before walking over and lied back down where he previously had been laying. I observed his face as he starred up at the roof, then he looked over giving me a small smile.
"What would've happened if I wasn't there?" He questioned, a smirk pulling at his lips. To be honest I hadn't thought about it, but it was a good question. A thought popped into my head which made me let out an amused sigh. I lied back down with the amused expression still on my face.
"Definitely would have made out with Mr Duglus" we both burst out into laughter.
"Of course you would have" Josh laughed out in response to my stupid thought. To be honest I probably would have punched Eddie than have had to talk to him.

For the rest of the night we just lied there talking, I missed this. I missed my friend, I missed everything. And now it was feeling like normal again.
Josh had gone down stares to make coffee, while I resides in his room. I had been looking over at the pie on his desk for about ten minutes; wondering if it was still hot, if it was even warm, then I decided to see. I took the plate back to the bed and sat down, crossing my legs and placing the plate in front of me. I grabbed the pie and took a bite, I let out a hum as I felt the warm delicious contents of this pastry.

"Hey" Josh uttered as he came back into his room finding me with the pie he had heated up almost gone, pastry on the edges of my mouth and crumbs all over to plate and the shirt I was wearing, "I was gonna ask if you wanted to order in, but apparently-" I shook my head.
"No, no. Order in!" I shouted through my full mouth. He just laughed and nodded before leaving once more. I finished the rest of my pie and wiped the crumbed off myself, then sat back down on Josh's bed. I searched around for the remote to his tv, but couldn't find it. Letting out a loud sigh I fell back on the bed.

I probably lied there for a good twenty minutes before Josh returned, I lifted my head up seeing Josh with two pizza's balanced on one hand, and with the other he pulled his wallet from his back pocket and car keys, throwing them on top of his desk before setting the pizza on the end of the bed and hooped onto the bed right next to me.

"How long have you been sitting in silence?" He questioned as I opened on of the boxes finding the normal one I got; half Hawaiian and half vegetarian. I wasn't vegetarian I just liked the combination.
"Since you came in and found me indulging in that pie" I said before bitting into my first piece.
"That was like half an hour ago. Did you not think to find the tv remote?" He half laughed as he opened the other pizza.
"I did. But I couldn't find it" I shrugged and took another bite. Josh frowned his brows and leaned back, grabbing something next to the night stand. He then moved his hand out to revel and tv remote, my smile disappeared, "You've got to be kidding me" I added. This earning an amused laugh or two from Josh. He clicked on the tv and continued to eat, whilst flicking through the channels till he came to the movie channel.

The sound of chattering was heard, it's monotonous sounds making my eyes open lightly before shutting again. I gaining a small glimpse of the sunset that crept in through the blinds.

"They'll clean up later, now come on. Let's have some coffee" Mr Sanderson asked. Meanwhile Mrs Sanderson took her coat off and hung it up on the coat rack.
"I will, I just want to check on them" she stated before making her way up the stairs. She made her way to Josh's room, the door was slightly open. A small gap revelling nothing, Mrs Sanderson opened the door a little more and popped her head around the corner. A smile formed on her face as she stared at her son and Ryley asleep, Josh's arm hanging over Ryley's waist and Ryley with her head rested on his chest. Mrs Sanderson half scoffed.
"Gosh" she said before exiting the room, and then heading down the stairs and into the kitchen.
