Star chuckled as she was let out of her cell, Toffee smiled at her.
She looked over to were Marco was resting and sighed.
"Come on, Star."
"Aren't you gonna handcuff me?"
"Nope, you don't need them," Toffee led her upstairs.
"Not like I'm complaining," she shrugged and followed him.
He led to a small backroom and used a key to unlock the door, "take this key, it unlocks your new room, your new clothes are on the bed, we can't have you walking around like... that..." Toffee scoffed.
Star looked down at her pink and magenta coloured tights, her green dress was now stained with patches of dirt.

She put on her new outfit and looked into the mirror she was now wearing a black dress and fishnet tights. She wore knee-high boots with small heels and a small skull bracelet.
She tied her hair into a side ponytail and decided to go and to see what was going on. Or see if she could get her phone back, at least, she couldn't live without it.
She left her room to find Toffee and Marco waiting in the main part of the castle.
"Star? What happened to you?" Marco whimpered, she couldn't help but she him smirk a little though.
She ignored him and shot Toffee a panicked look.
Toffee laughed and untied Marco's handcuffs, Marco ran over to her and threw his arms around her shoulders.
Instead of returning the gesture, she pulled Marco's hands down and gave him a look he would never forget.
Marco gulped and Star just stared at him blankly.

"Its such a shame how one person can ruin something... so... pure, isn't it Marco?" Toffee said broodingly.

"What did you do to her?!" Marco yelled.

"Oh, nothing, I just spoke some sense into her, showed her who she really is," Toffee chuckled.

Marco frowned.

"Star, lets see, I'm going to test you, see how loyal you are, and I don't care if the boy gets away anyway, take him to his cell, and hurry up about it, I want you up here in 10."

Star pushed Marco into the cell and locked the door, Marco clutched the bars tightly, "Star, what are you doing?"

Star's deep expression lightened a little, and she turned and walked back upstairs.

Toffee looked impressed, Ludo was also beside him.

"See, I told you I could break her out of her shell," Toffee grinned at Ludo.

"And you were right, I shouldn't have doubted you, Toffee," Ludo folded his arms tightly.

"What are we supposed to do with her now though?" Ludo looked at Star and then back to Toffee.

Toffee shrugged, "it looks good to have the future queen of Mewni wandering around here, doesn't it? Makes us look somewhat powerful."

Ludo nodded, "and what if her family find out?"

Toffee chuckled, "Ludo, we have the most powerful princess alive at our hands at the moment, we don't need to worry."

"I'm going to bed," Star dismissed herself.

..*..

"I have to find my phone," Star muttered under her breath.

She rushed through the corridors and in and out of the rooms until she came to one room, it had a metal label on the front of it, it read 'Toffee's room' and then a tiny 'DO NOT ENTER' was scribbled in permanent marker underneath it.

Star shrugged and opened the door, it creaked loudly and she coughed from the amount of dust that piled out of the room and around her feet. The room was darker and even more gloomy than the others, she entered it determinedly. Her phone was sitting on the desk, she picked it up and blew off the layer of dust that was forming on top of it like a blanket.

"I missed you!" She hugged her phone to her chest and rushed out of the room, making sure to close the door behind her.

She reached her room and collapsed on the bed, she dialled her mothers number.

"Star, what's wrong, its late!"

"Mother, we need to talk," Star whispered.

"Why are you whispering? It best be important, Star I'm busy," Moon huffed.

"You have to send the army, to Ludo's castle, he's working with Toffee now, and they've kidnapped me and Marco!"

"What! Star, slow down, you're stuck at Ludo's castle?"

"Yes, I need your help!"

"Star, I don't know what to say. Listen, I wasn't supposed to tell you, but I cant enter Ludo's castle, after we won the war, he cast some sort of spell, and I cant enter there without being killed."

"What? So that means-"

Moon cut her off, "yes... I'm afraid your on your own on this one, but Star, I believe in you, you can do this, Okay?"

Star grinned, "Okay! Bye!" Star hung up the phone and got up.

She adjusted her boots and rushed down the corridor into the dining room, where Ludo and Toffee were eating, she sneaked past them and found herself in a small dark room, her wand lay on a table, next to Ludo's wand.

Star picked up her wand and examined it in her hands, she sighed gently.

"Star? What are you doing?!" Ludo rushed into the room and shut the door behind him.

She turned around and hid the wand behind her back, "Oh! I was just looking!"

"At what? Star, can we really trust you?"

Star smiled slightly, "I guess you can't..."
