i waited for chunhua and zhenghao near the school's gate since chunhua called me beforehand that zhenghao's been feeling weak

a taxi stopped right infront of me and i saw the both of them going out, chunhua carried zhenghao using her back

"hey! you're a girl! are you sure you can carry him? give him to me." i suggested as i waited for her to lend zhenghao to me

she just shook her head, "no, it's okay. i can manage"

i looked at her weirdly as she started to walk away, leaving me from my spot, "YAH! CHEN LINONG! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? LET'S GO AT THE CLINIC! WE CAN'T LET HIM DIE FROM FEVER!"

"oh right, i'm sorry" i muttered under my breath as i immediately followed them, i noticed the pale skin of zhenghao and wondered what might have happened

i know he was sent out by Mr. Zhang to spy but i didn't expect it would come out like this!

"yo sis and nongnong!" ling chao greeted us at the hallway while eating his chips, as he went nearer, he quickly noticed zhenghao's bad condition,

chunhua just lowered her head and walked forward, we immediately catched up to her inside the school's clinic

once inside, she let zhenghao rest on one of the beds as she also sits on the bed and stretched her body, "sis, what happened?"

she roamed her eyes around the place, "no one's here right? including the nurse?"

me and ling chao nodded as we both waited for chunhua to continue, "i don't think it's because of the trauma, he's really fine before we went inside the taxi"

"what do you think might have caused him?" i furrowed my eyebrows, confused

"what touch?" i asked once again and turned my head to see ling chao in case he knows

ling chao nodded as he sits on a vacant chair, "the same event that happened to yue-ge?"

"probably.. we had a physical contact earlier and i really think i acquired his powers"

i dropped my jaws in awe, "earlier, we just talked about you acquiring powers and being the chosen one and now it's coming true!"

she sighed, "but i don't like it. i don't like the idea. the pressure."

"she's been begging me if we could change powers but i don't know how. can we give this opportunity to another person instead?" her twin brother asked

i noticed zhenghao waking up and trying to move but i refrain him from doing so, "relax kid, you're still feeling weak"

we heard a clicking sound and we saw maotong entering the school's clinic, "UWAAAAA ZHENGHAO! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?"

he immediately engulfed zhenghao into a hug as zhenghao tries to escape, "uhm okay please let go now, it's awkward"

maotong fake cried as he broke the hug, "did you had a meeting or something? may i join?"

"you'll be of great help, so please stay here" i ordered and he immediately finds a seat afterwards

"so, zhenghao. please continue." ling chao stated

zhenghao sighed before he continued, "so i spied the unknown clan of yankai, and he's from the dark side"

i froze to my place as ling chao and maotong stopped from what they are doing, as for chunhua she seems fine

i pointed my index finger to zhenghao, "you're not lying, are you?"

maotong coughed before he continued, "since we all know that the Zhang's are from the family who mastered the use of weapons hence Zhang Yankai is a normal person but because he has these kind of powers, he is not considered as a normal person and someone like us too"

chunhua tweaked her hair, "i'm getting more and more confused as the word count gets higher"

zhenghao nodded, "i agree. if it is this difficult to be intellectual, i'll just put up a business then"
