The wind blew silently as they waited for the blonde, it was now his match, however there was no trace, Sakura and Sasuke stood by the railing, anxiously looking around the arena for any sign, however none came to their gaze.

"If Naruto uzumaki, does not appear for his match in the next minute, he will be disqualified" the proctor called out. This time it was Genma Shiranui, the silence was deafening as team 7 mentally counted down the seconds.

Murmurs had started ring in the audience, wondering why someone had decided to waste their time.

A silent whistle rang through the area, the inuzuka clan covered their ears in pain while everyone was curious on what it was.

A flash of blue appeared in front of the person with the proctor. Sakura and Sasuke clenched their hands as they seen their teammate, even though relief went over their features, glad that the blonde was okay.

The boy smirked at the proctor and tilted his head,

"Sorry I'm late, a black cat crossed my path and I had to take the long way" Kakashi chuckled when he recognized the line from the many times he was late himself, he shook his head in amusement before feeling a familiar chakra beside him.

Spinning around, the man found his sensei pressed against the wall with one leg resting on it and crossed arms. "Ahhh~ Kakashi, Nice to see you again" the man smirked while Kakashi sputtered out nonsense.

Hiruzen opened his mouth wide when he felt a familiar chakra next to him, turning to his right, a red haired maiden stood in front of him, a very furious face along with a fist raised.

"Hello again Hiruzen"

Genma had now called the match, everyone stared wide eyed as the boy tossed 12 fancy kunais around the arena, and started to flash in different places. A flicker of his image had started to appear all over, he made sure to change around his routine so that he wouldn't be caught. Continuing with his repeated flashing, he appeared behind his opponent, and started to rapidly make hand seals.

Raising his hands in a outward push Naruto mumbled under his breath.

"Crashing wind: wind wave" immediately the Justus flew from his palms and towards the unsuspecting person he was versing.

The boy was blown back and crash into the wall, he groaned out as a few rocks scrapped a few of his limbs. Making some handseals, he brought his hands to the wounds he gained.

"Transfer" and the wound disappeared from his body and onto Naruto's own figure. Naruto furrowed his brows when pain blossomed on his back and scrapes appeared on his arms and legs. Bringing his hands to his shoulders, he muttered a 'release' and two twin katanas appeared in his hands, getting into a stance, the other boy smirked and started to run towards the blonde, his hands making seals at a fast rate.

"Fire style: Phoenix flower" a large fire sprouted from the boys mouth and Naruto smirked, he brought his weapons in an x-position and sliced the Jutsu in half. Expecting the fist to appear right after, he blocked it and sent a kick to the boys chin, which sent him flying back. Naruto did not relent on his attacks and followed him when the boy landed.

Giving a harsh slash to the boys right, he let it be blocked and slashed upwards as an opening appeared. Naruto smirked and continued with his ruthless onslaught, until finally the boy was on his ass, raising up on his elbows while a blade pointed directly at his throat.
