Jimin's POV
"namjoon-hyung...do you love me?"

"of course I do, jimin-ah, why are you asking?"
"no reason, hyung."

"hyung... do you believe in fate?"
it is a question without an answer.
Jimin looks out towards the unfathomable sky. The stars are bright here, glittering and cold, and even though the night is dark and the wind chilling, he is content to just sit here, legs dangling over their balcony's edge and Namjoon's warmth at his side.
All the others are asleep. He had tossed and turned for what seemed like hours before wandering out into the living room, where he saw the tall silhouette of Namjoon precariously balanced on the railing of their balcony. He had barely looked up when Jimin had softly slid open their sliding door and clambered up to sit beside him.
Namjoon's voice was soft, barely penetrating the silence.
"Couldn't sleep?"
"Can I sit with you?" had been Jimin's tentative reply. They had sat in companionable silence since then.

"I do. "
His voice surprises Jimin. He turns his head to face Namjoon.
"What do you mean, hyung?"
" I mean... I believe in certain types of fate," he says, gesturing to the wide expanse of sky. "I don't think everything is meant to happen a certain way, and I don't think everything happens for a reason but-"
he stops, and jimin waits for his answer.
"but what, hyung?"
"but...I believe certain people are just destined to meet each other."
Namjoon's silver hair is further illuminated by the cold embrace of the moon, and it's blown back slightly off his face as he lifts his head into the night breeze. The way he looks- tousled, silver hair and and desolate, sky blown eyes-
And then it happens slowly, and then all at once;
Jimin falls in love with Namjoon in the light of the stars.
