Don't get attached, you jokingly told me

But I did

I did get attached, I fell so hard for you

For your voice, your kindness, our memories

I got too used to you that I didn't even realize that you had outgrown me

You had used me until I was no use for you anymore

I got attached

To the wrong man, at the wrong day, at the wrong time of my life

You've left me vulnerable and bare

You've left me to salvage what little left I have and hope one day, I can move on
