As our love grows more toxic
How do we know when to leave?
Is there a chance to escape your arms embrace?
I hate you, I love you
When does it end?
There's a heavy pit in my stomach from all the times you've let me down
When will it crawl up my throat and tell you we're done
I hate you, I love you
What has distance done to us?
You're always upset, you never say it but I know
I try to make the best of things but you're not making it any easier
I hate you, I love you
These are things I can never tell you
So I spill the ink of our ruined love onto something that will stick
What has distance done to us?
